2014 New Year Special Concert by Prince Rama Varma & Vidushi Amrutha Venkatesh!

A classic concert by the brilliant Guru/Sishya Duo of Prince Rama Varma and Vidushi Amrutha Venkatesh, accompanied by Sri S.R.Vinu, Sri J.Vaidyanathan and Dr.S.Karthick.
The mutual respect, the comfort level and the team spirit shared by all the artists, is just unbelievable! The way Varma ji and Amrutha divide the time taken by each of them to a perfect 50/50 ratio is also incredible!
After this super hit concert and their duet during Vidushi Parasala Ponnammal's 90th birthday concert, they have been flooded with invitations to do duet concerts like this again and again,
but they prefer to save that for some truly special occasions, as of now. Though most music lovers would agree that just to have the two of them sing together itself, would automatically make the occasion special.
Varma ji has told me that until now, he has given full fledged duet concerts like this, only with his Gurus Prof.Vechoor Hariharasubramania Iyer, Dr.Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna and Vidushi Amrutha Venkatesh, though he has invited many many of his bright students to share the stage with him on various occasions.
