What if I already have an tagged alt that I am actively using for grinding, if I want to tag another character for lvling, do I always have to copy gear for the full marni's fuel price ? Is the 1 marni fuel just an event or permanent?
With the EXP sharing, if you grind on 1 character then switch to the other, grind with that one without collecting the EXP, does the 1st one get the EXP the 2nd has grinded, even though that one hasn't collected it from the 1st yet?

If you tag a character and kill say 1 enemy with the first character. The tagged character will also get 1 enemy worth of exp. After the transfer, you cannot transfer again. no infinite exp loops ha

Can't seem to graduate season char, my season pass was already finished before hand and timepiece already used prior to update. No prompt or quests showing by blackspirit, Fughar or on the pass interface. No quests from the usual graduation npc in Velia either. Any ideas?
Nevermind figured it out, there was one item from the premium side I hadn't claimed in my season pass. instant graduation button pops up once pass completed and fully claimed.
it copies the class specific gear at the level of the gear that was tagged. So ex on your main the pen kzarka axe tagged to your alt, the alt would get a pen kzarka staff
Good question. I think any type of xp your character gets is stored in the tag system. So if your character farms in a shit xp zone you gather little to no xp. The other char even at lvl 1 will get little to no xp. Im gonna try after i graduate to tag and go mirumok and grind with full xp buffs see how much i get per hour.
We havent got this update yet, maybe on the 4th october but doubtful since we're getting Maegu awk and the 3 mythical horses. so maybe 2 weeks after that.

Ya time piece was still better then this tag system. You got a free level 62 .. free .. Like copying a few hours of farming xp off your main it not even in the same world as timepiece. Timepiece is such a loss for anyone especially without 7k fame already. And this tag event doesn't even make sense since you cant tag season. Why would people be tagging and grinding non season chars when the season just came out. Maybe its just the timing that is weird because I thought you could tag a season char for xp grinding the way it launched this patch but you can't. So what are we supposed to rush the season grad just to partake in the copy event? And why would you even keep playing your season alt even via tag after its grad. Like to me it makes sense to do a tag event a few weeks after season is out because then most people are done. Like the amount of people looking for a new main from a season character it not very high but this event paints it like its for people looking for a new main reroll. They should have made you able to tag xp for season chars for the event even if not copy gear the xp would have been nice but now it might as well not even be here.
I Agree and disagree. I wish the timepiece wasn't removed as I loved getting a free level 63. but now if you want to try out a few different classes or even just fill the rosta with alts to get quick family fame or w/e, you just go do a couple hours at orcs/upper gyfins and you'll have a new level 61 without losing any silver/hr by grinding season ap zones. And you can just keep doing this without the limitation of 1 timepiece a season. Note, I'm talking from a console perspective though, we don't have a lot of grind spots pc have yet which is why I said orcs an upper gyfin lol
i havent played bdo for like 5 months and this is the longest I've been without playing. I want to jump back, but its the same old over and over. I love the game, just need somthing.... new? the teleporations was great, new content in the korean land sick. But everything still feels the same. Love the update vids, always watch them but find it hard to jump back in. Honestly, waiting on the next class. Might be keen then.
"Everything still feels the same" is a good thing... especially for someone that hasn't play for a long time. Why change what people are familiar with unless there a good reason? Sure, it nice to have more contents but the game shouldn't feel vastly different. Otherwise, you might as well play a different game at that point...
Any idea if there is a time limit for the exp share? or any limits that effect it like switching to a different char? Or could I just grind a whole week and then transfer the exp? Cos my main sucks for pve so I have a pve tag, but want my main to continue leveling for pvp

Endless, it will auto graduate though if you don't log in for like 6 months or something.

I think someone noted you can not graduate a character with Fughar's time piece in your inventory after this new season change. Try a search on that.

I just wished the characters didn't need to be in the same location. I want to leave a character in LOML and one in Odyllyta
Once they’re tagged you can leave and the XP will transfer. Had my sage in Velia and was farming centaurs, all the XP transferred

Wats D difference between season 1 to season 2 server? Im usually on season 1. What am I missing on season 2?
Nothing its just an extra server to spread the players out so not everybody is cramped fighting over grind spots
