- Today we present you the first in a series of tutorials - interior lighting in V-Ray. You will find a link to download the entire scene that is presented in this tutorial in the link below. We are providing it in two versions - one with amateurish bad settings and one with the correct lighting, the way as we would proceed in Evermotion. The scene is in 3ds Max and V-Ray format.

Thank you so much evermotion for this wonderful and effective tutorial.
you are doing a great job, I do really appreciate your work .please keep going on uploading more free scenes hence we can practice more. We need more free tutorials especially about applying V-ray materials.
Really appreciated your effort for this tutorials. Very helpful. Thank you so much. Expecting more great videos. ♥️

Fantastic , thank you Evermotion team
amazing vedio.....!!! u did what we actually wanted
Great job! Thank you!
Liked it. Expecting more tutorial. Please make a video for Exterior! 👍
The guy saying that you don't need sky-portals anymore, well it is right only if you use V-ray Dome for lighting. But in this case, I think, Sky portals are needed.
Some prefer (including me) to use the V-ray Sky inside the V-ray Dome, activating "Adaptive Dome". This way you don't need to use sky-portals.
That's true - you don't need portals when you are using adaptive V-Ray Dome. In the case of using VraySun and Sky (or non-adaptive dome lighting) they are advisable.
@@evermotion No they are not, you put the sky in the dome light and turn on the adaptive.
@@AndreiPek that's what we written: if you don't use adaptive dome, use skylight portals, if you use adaptive dome - you don't need them.
Very useful Vedios 👌 thanks so much

Great job.. Thank you.. Recently we can't use skylight portals anymore because of vray updated dome light features.. But what if we want to use only sun only workflow like yours?

Hi, why has the training video stopped. When will the segment continue from your end. They are really helpful for newbies as well as pro artists. Please continue the same soon. Thanks.
Are there gonna be any post production tutorials like in ArchViz training videos?
good. thanks. But when I try to repeat this tutorial with overide materials everything works out. But when I include scene materials they don't look very good. Will there be any tutorial with materials?
Whats that program/plugin to display mouse and keyboard actions in the left bottom corner? Ok found it - OBS plugin Input Overlay
There is no more option "Skylight Portal" in Vray light setings in lastest Vray versions. What about that?
What happened to vray portal sky in vray lights in vray 5.2? How to use this technique now, if it does not appear in the options
Put vray sky in dome light and activate adaptive dome
aren't skylight portals useless in new version of V-Ray, since there's no option for it?
In which version??
can you please make exterior render
It will be in the next chapter of ArchViz Training Online! :)
