Unreal Engine 5. It's basically using Unreal assets which resemble Legos. There's a tutorial to pull this off. That, or at the very least he is using some blur affects. If this is real and I'm wrong, this guys is INSANELY patient.

I love how obviously it's AI interpolated, it works surprisingly well in some moments here, but with the real water it really likes to screw up, or with walking cycles

the movements are the smoothest and easiest to recognize that I've ever seen. One thing though, to make this a movie quality stopmotion, when things fall or slide, try to have them fall faster or accelerate when falling. you can also give the characters a little oompf in action, like a recoil or bounce.
