    Credenza is a piece of furniture, genius.
    Cadenza is a portion of music that only the soloist plays.
    Let's get our information right first before incorrectly correcting someone else.

    i own this car and i love it rides butter smooth and very nimble for a car this size and alot to offer for the money

    For all of you haters out there, this car is a revolution in the near-luxury market and should be recognized as so. If you want a Lexus or a BMW fine go spend the extra dough but this is an everymans luxury where it can be from a manufacture that offers a killer warranty and handsome styling. So before you go all crazy about the price consider who this car is aimed at. That is all.

    Let me tell you something ,I am on my 5th Hyundai product and until this day my only visits to the dealership is for schedule maintenance ,never a problem whatsoever ,your comment of course is based in the past reputation of Hyundai and Kia which leads me to believe that you are still stuck 20 years ago when Hyundai and Kia indeed used to make unreliable low quality vehicles ,that's not the case nowadays ,get informed ,own one and then make a comment .Have a good day.

    Obviously you live in a dream world where companies have unlimited money. This is a great way for Kia to expand the market.

    TRUUUE...but once upon a time consumers said the same thing about Lexus when it was getting its start. Kia has to start somewhere JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER CAR MAKER and they have been on a road to success for a few years now. Of course 41K seems like a lot for a company that used to make cheap cars, but they have to remain competitive and they can only lower their prices so much. It is a corporation after all and I think they would like to see some profits come back.

    Cadenza is the part of musical performance when one performer is let to perform before the end of play or song.
    Passat is one type of wind.
    Camry is the Anglicized Japanese word "kamuri" that means "crown".

    That quick screen shot of a Kia Amanti was like a screamer video

  • @Lanier3000
    @Lanier3000 Před 11 lety +1

    FYI: "Cadenza" is NOT a made-up word, Joe. Just like "Forte" and "Rondo," they're musical terms.
    Research, my friend.

  • @Darkender1988

    Just an FYI, cadenza is not a made-up word it is a musical sign used in musical composition just like several of their other models... Accent, sonata, forte... Etc

      @jaredshelton4718 Před 5 lety

      I can appreciate the Amanti, I found one for $7k with 30k miles, nice 3.8, mint condition, however, with it being 2018, I'm going to try and get a 2014 Cadenza, something with more modern style.

  • @igeekone

    Yes I'd buy a Cadenza. I'm not so narrow minded as most car shoppers.

    CADENZA is a word used in music; not made up

  • @palebeachbum
    @palebeachbum Před 11 lety

    I don't understand why Kia doesn't offer the Cadenza in a more basic version for a lower price. Starting at $35k seems rather pricey when you can get the competition for $30k or less to start, such as Impala and 300.

    • @jaredshelton4718
      @jaredshelton4718 Před 5 lety

      Kia didn't want to have this tied into the price range of the Optima, they wanted to have a step up, and I'm ok with that.

    Please stop living in the past. I'm tired of the closed mindedness of these window shoppers these days that aren't aware of the current automotive climate. Kia, is doing fantastic right now and their cars are flying off the lots for a reason. If you can't see that, then I don't know what to tell you.

  • @ShermanMR2
    @ShermanMR2 Před 11 lety

    Hyundai and Kia started out in a very dark place with poor resale and reliability problems with their cars. I guess you can say I'm still tainted from this. I don't think that I would be willing to buy one anytime soon.

  • @KatoJac
    @KatoJac Před 11 lety

    While I agree with you somewhat, Kia and Hyundai aren't too far from their past. They still have yet to catch up with the big name brands. They had issues with customers not getting the EPA MPG estimates, and they've still had many recalls. Give these new cars a couple years on the road before we actually establish them as a reliable brand.

    cadenza is not a made up term and neither is Passat. Cadenza is a musical term just like Forte.

  • @symawd
    @symawd Před 11 lety

    Passat isn't made up either. Most VW models are named after trade winds.

    Would not pay that much for a Kia. Who would want to buy a 4 or 5 year old Kia down the road..let alone if it was even older.

  • @radudeATL
    @radudeATL Před 11 lety

    Camry = Kanmuri = Crown (in Japanese). So technically the word Camry is made up. But not quite...

  • @baritone05

    Cadenza is a made up name, you say? Explain this (psst...it's Italian, just like Forte and Rondo, ad they're all musical terms$

  • @spookerr
    @spookerr Před 11 lety

    Huge concern is reliability. Hyundai and Kia cannot old their own against other mfr based on R&D. While marketed brilliantly, R&D is the mothers milk of reliability. Yes, there is a great warranty, but who wants to use it all the time?

    • @jaredshelton4718
      @jaredshelton4718 Před 5 lety

      You really don't have to use the warranties. They're very reliable.

    Cadenza is not a made up. Before you started making this video, you should have done more research, like all the other auto journalists did. It's not CREDENZA., that is a piece of furniture.

  • @RealtimeReviews613

    Paying $41,000 for a kia is ridiculous! The cadenza isnt even good looking. Kia needs to stop copying audi. We get it peter schrier was at audi but get over it move on. This looks like a vw from the rear and bland from the front. Looks like a $30,000 loaded not $41,000

  • @FLJAMESFL
    @FLJAMESFL Před 11 lety

    I'm sorry but 41 Grand for a Kia. I don't think so. And lets not talk about the depreciation rate. Sorry, but Lexus all the way. Only a 40% depreciation rate. Plus, when you say Lexus people just nod their heads and say Nice. Kia you would have to explain yourself. They need a Luxury Division. Not to sound mean or anything, but people that can afford a $41000.00 don't want to see people driving up in an Accent. A totally different lifestyle.

  • @syedrasheed23
    @syedrasheed23 Před 11 lety

    i would never buy this car 41 or 20k. the new merecedes CLA is starting at 30k! Umm thats sounds like a better deal.

    • @jaredshelton4718
      @jaredshelton4718 Před 5 lety

      1: It's a Mercedes, very unreliable. 2: it's the CLA, No v6, smaller, cheaper build quality. I'll take the Cadenza.

  • @tonydano
    @tonydano Před 11 lety

    If it wasn't for creative financing, no one would buy a KIA. Maybe not even a Chrysler for that matter.
    also, the reason German cars don't usually have a folding rear seat is because they are RWD and often very high powered. The bracing is needed for structural rigidity. The reason the KIA doesn't have a folding rear seat is because its a cheap piece of shit.
