- Norway 8K shows the wild landscapes of Norway in ultra high resolution. From the coastal peaks of the Lofoten and Senja Islands to the fjords and highlands of southern Norway this video was shot in 4 weeks in August and September 2015 whilst driving over 8000km.

It's not your GPU GTX in this case, it's CPU processing power to process particles. If you were rendering a video game- it's another story, but I doubt even GTX 1080 will render a game on 8K

my phone has a 1440p display. however i want to go back to 1080p, as this resolution consumes so much power and is barely noticeable on the small 5" screen.

I can see this video in 8K without any lag...this is just so beautiful and that's because I bought a new PC so for me it works perfectly !
MY i7 6700K reached 92% utilization with nothing on in the background and my GTX 980ti reached 63% utilization. with the video taking up 1GB of ram.
1700 and 1050ti cpu usage at 3 while gpu is around 40 trust me whatever browser you're using sucks. Edge SOMEHOW is actually amazing at videos it just uses the gpu and doesn't touch the cpu.
Tasso gamer your iPhone 7 can only go up to 6.7 it would have to be a world record to be at 6700 k lol and I highly doubt a three minute video would take up 1 gig
