Thanks for doing this video. I was going back n forth between Katzkin and the Clazzio this video did it for me. Going with Clazzio. They look freakin great man.
I added the blue Clazzio Quilted covers on my last build and they were awesome with even better quality. I sold that truck and got a 2023 F350 and ordered a custom set of black quilted Clazzio covers with silver diamond stitching. I can’t wait for them to come in.
I’ve had them for close to a year now and still look great. I am actually installing a different set with blue colored diamond stitching from Clazzio very soon.
Looks great. I agree about the center console. I have a 2016 2500 SLT and I will probably have the same issue as yours. Maybe add some extra cushion/padding to fill in the gap. Very impressive build you have there too.
Great install. Only thing I’d add based on my experience with them on a couple cars is that they the seat backs at least used to have one side that had the Clazzio tag sewn on, and also would have the airbag tag on the same side for the breakaway stitching. Maybe tooth sides have airbag compatible seams now though so they’re interchangeable. Both my sets are ~9-10 years old now, and apart from some cracking on the bolster on the drivers seat they’ve held up great!
I have zero issues with my Clazzio covers. They are not as custom as Katzkins but they are darn close and much less in cost. Katzkins you have to have a professional install as you have to remove the factory cover to reinstall the Katzkin. Clazzio is a custom seat “cover” so much easier to install.
The side panels on the front seat are help by 2 screws just take them off don’t tuck it lol.. the head rest insets are just a single clip to remove you don’t need to tuck that either 😂 The cup holders and center console can come apart too.. I’m willing to bet the cup holders are made to snap back over the cover just like the head rest inserts and side panels. Never tried removing cup holders but they are normally insets too in most vehicles.

There is a little extra room, it just depends on how high you go with the pad to gain position height. Worst case scenario, just strap it down as best as you can or sew on an extension piece of material that beat matches the color seat cover you chose.
We've recently ordered for a newer Ram truck. The quality is so bad now for these things. We installed them on a Tacoma years ago and they were great. They are so bad now. The vinyl looks cheap on the headrest and the whole kit is just bad.

I had these covers on for probably 2 years with no issues. I then upgraded to Clazzio quilted covers. I also have the same covers on my wife’s truck. I have nothing but good things to say about Clazzio. Just make sure to use my discount code if you do go with them.
From what Clazzio claims, they are water resistant meaning if you spill a drink they hold the moisture long enough to wipe it up quickly but they are not 100% waterproof.

It’s the vinyl variant. Looks and feels amazing with great quality and much lower cost. I’ve had friends look at my seats and they were shocked to find out these were covers and not factory leather.

You can check Clazzio’s website. I got my plain all black Clazzio Seat covers on eBay. Custom stitching may be a special order.
Man that back seat was pretty tough. I can't get mine to Velcro. My back seat doesn't look as nice. Maybe I'll wait until a hot day and try it again
Yeah I struggled with one of my trucks too as it all depends on the temperature. Wait for a hot day and then stretch it back out.

They have buttons underneath at the bottom of the post. I believe there is one each side. Once pressed the headrest should lift out.

How do you get the rear seat belt over the seat
The seat cover slides behind the seat belt that is attached up high over the seat. I’m not sure if I understood the question correctly though?
Did you get the Premium leather or regular leather?
On this kit (wife’s truck) I believe it was the pvc version and not actual leather? I got the leather quilted versions for my lifted truck.

Velcroing these things together is almost impossible!
You have to leave them out in the hot sun in the car for a day to allow them to stretch them Velcro them.

That’s a tough one. It has to be hot and really stretch the seat cover while the bottom seat if lifted up to create a little room to work with below.
