I’m personally using a pair of refuse 32c for light gravel and road
but imo much better to wear the right shoe for the event/activity

I have the 32mm version of those tires. Used to be called the WTB Exposure, now they call it the WTB Expanse. I currently have them on my road bike. Never going back to 25mm tires. 😁
On another note, when we were climbing up Sumulong Highway once, we were passed by a cyclist with one leg. He was saying "kaya niyo yan", and boy was it motivating.

I Used a 700x32c vittoria terreno zero’s last year. Fast on road, but found myself overspun on my 46tx11t chainring/cassette whilst trying to keep up with roadie friends.
nice! I've never felt like I've ever overspun on my 46x11

Hmmm, I currently have the Panaracer Gravel King 700x38 SK+ tires, but I'm thinking about going for a 700x35 or 700x32 SS+ for my next tire, since it's 90% road and 10% off-road/light gravel for me. I also kind of want that sweet spot where I can have the best of both worlds.
