Amanda is such a protagonist, whenever she tells stories about her life I can picture it like a movie. What an interesting and fullfilled life so far. Goals, honestly.
it gives such perspective to her life advice on smosh mouth, where she talks about how you should just take in life and do what you can and focus on living to your fullest, as opposed to getting worried about missing stuff or chasing a soulmate. i think her family also really set her up for success on that front too, living with so many big personalities and being able to travel a bunch lol

there’s probably a lot of factors but one of them might be the adhd (angela’s mentioned it before), cause for me im constantly taking in a lot of stimuli that other’s people’s brains are able to tune out when they focus. it means i get distracted from what im supposed to be focusing on, but i can also notice little side-comments or asides that no one else is seeing

I gotta say, though they are a solid duo, I actually think Amanda is subtly competitive towards Angela, like kinda alot to the point where I think it is borderline a bit mean. Recently that competitive and passive agressive attitude Amanda shows towards Angela has definitely subsided compared to before (I can't recall every video where I've seen this, but some I can remember is during some of the moose master videos and the trivia pursuit they did together and u gotta watch the whole thing to really notice it), but there are times where I still see this time to time. I mean look at this video where Amanda asks who is the better liar out of nowhere(for those who don't know this may seem like a totally innocent question, but given how Amanda has acted towards Angela before, I kinda see this more of as Amanda being very very slightly competitive again). And I know ppl who like this duo is gonna say sth like they're just exchanging joking banter, and I'm not saying there aren't those moments at all, but sometimes it definitely seems a little more than that for Amanda. And I think Angela dealt with those moments pretty well and is trying to be kind to Amanda despite that slight discomfort.

All I can say to that is watch through the trivia pursuit video I just mentioned, and if u still don't believe me, then honestly there's nothing more to say. And I honestly think that part of the reason why Amanda's competitive energy often gets misunderstood as purely friendly banter (again, most of the time it IS friendly but there are times where it's a bit more than that) is because Angela kind of brushes it off and jokingly remarks to get past it.

You know, I'm a massive fan of the old school members. Shayne is my favorite, borderline tied with Damien. Literally no one on Smosh has made me spit my drink more than Shayne. Noah is an actual comedic sleeper agent with some of the best lines in Smosh history. Courtney is a priceless commodity on this show that they need to do everything in their power to hold on to.
But this duo, Amanda and Angela, is such a dynamo pairing. This might actually be my favorite 2T1L so far.

@@allyperfectcosima5472i think it really is about the people u find yourself surrounded by. ive had friends where the thought of doing something wild or illegal never occurred to anyone and ive had friends who would steal traffic signs on the way home for fun, and when you’re friends with the latter a) its fun to go along with it but b) you always feel so tame by comparison. and then when i hung out with my “less wild” friends and was like “lets go to the park at night” they would look at ME like that was a wild suggestion lol
