You make it look easy. I had a plumber tell he won't do a pedestal sink because he had no access to the pipes. He was just lazy apparently.

It's actually a little challenging, you really need the basin wrench to help you with the awkward space behind the sink.

Thanks so much for this video! I successfully (for the first time & with no experience) was able to change out our faucet and drain, thanks to you! ☺️

9:25 you don't need tape at all on the bottom of the faucets threads. The hose has an oring inside of it which seals it. Putting in on the threads is asking for a leak because it won't screw on properly or tight enough. just FYI

is there anyway to do this without removing the sink? My sink would have to be destroyed because it is cemented to the tile.

I think so, as long as you have enough space to access and have the right tools like the channellock and basin wrench.

Everything super helpful, except for the caulking/silicone - I’ll find another video for that step lol

Trying to figure out what tool I need to remove the nut on the drain without removing the pedestal for easier access and I can't find a single video where they don't do that.

Why do you need the basin wrench if you are gonna take off the sink anyways

Don’t need Teflon tape for compression fittings with the rubber inserts.

The caulking was painful to watch.

    I think u skip a step
When you remove supply lines from the faucet.

I think you're right, I posted another video that includes the removal of the white pvc here - czcams.com/video/eCEOj5R0Rhs/video.html

Why not disconnect the sink from the wall before removing the faucet & pop up? Duh

So at 3:44 how were the bolts removed? Hoping to see that but highly doubt this is a pedestal sink at 3:44. Please rename your video and stop misleading.

If you watched the whole video, you would see at 2:00 I indicated "The next photo disconnecting the white pipe fittings, mounting tabs & lift rod was from another faucet installation. The steps are the same. " Hope you can read this better. Also we are not professional plumbers, we're regular homeowners doing it ourselves. Thank you.
