Has SpaceX talked about why its stage separation system failed to work both as planned and as an emergency abort? Frightening that the spacecraft was stuck to a dead booster.
Probably still analyzing data, maiden test flight after all

I don't think stage separation was attempted, the booster engines never shut down.
