    That era when vehicles were designed and engineered with so much compassion that they had names as if they were something heroic and legendary, and were influential characters in the lives of the people associated with them.

      It's shape has taken all my life to grow on me - I'm 44 in 2021. I always thought the EMD E and F's were perfect. But, I do now rather like these. I'm excited for the Mark Twain Zephyr these days. I think I'd like to ride it.

    A shocking scene here was that a switcher has a close encounter with the Zephyr. How is that? Putting that aside, this is an awesome video of the BZ!

    When I was very young a Burlington Zephyr train crashed into the Downtown Downers Grove Train Station.

      They’re staged for a movie. It was 1935~ so it was real.
