I love how George doesn’t let his stutter get in the way of interviews, celebration, this video. You can hear his stutter a lot in this video, but he just gets through it and doesn’t make a fuss over it. That’s one of my favorite things about him.
Absolutely!! Helps give us guys courage
This aged well
Nal's yeah, it’s inspirational, ever seen his story
@@darinkauffman9362 just know if you stutter and make a fuss over it, what ever that means, we still like you.
@@howdareyou41 Thanks😊
I’m really happy A-Rod decided to stick around and become an analyst. You can tell he has so much love for the game, even after playing his last game.
he's awesome as an analyst, asks great questions and he seems so smart
A-Rod is an incredible analyst and interviewer because there are few people on the planet who actually know the game as well as he does. To get the answers he gets you have to know the questions
As a Dodger’s fan I hate to say this, but as a person with a stutter essentially just like his, Id love to say this, George Springer is one of my heroes. Listening to him talk, i hear my own voice. I love this guy so much.
Thanks for your comment. I'm a Cardinals fan, and I learned from Ray Lankford's career that when a player signs a professional contract, he belongs to Baseball. I didn't like Lankford much until I looked up one day and discovered he was a "five-and-ten man" - then my attitude changed. He'd been with St. Louis long enough to be fully vested in the pension plan, and long enough to earn "no-trade" privileges.
I pecked all that to say, George Springer belongs to Baseball. You don't have to apologize for admiring a talented individual who had many options yet chose to thrill us as a Big Leaguer.
I'm sorry but u might not like him anymore 😂
Bang bang 🗑
As someone who has stuttered my entire life, it is amazing to see someone speak so confidently and unapologetically while stuttering!! Thank you George Springer!
Amazing guy great ball player and a great ambassador for people with stutters and we have arod two amazing athletes and great people
hes fuckin stoned bro are u that dumb
Tyler Viette dude what... look up George springers stuttering videos, he has a legit stutter, your so disrespectful
Fucking cheater
Two cheaters
Springer is a good person A-Roid is not
Very humble and very hard working George Springer. Leads by example and honest about all the ups and downs. Go Astros!
I can relate so much to how George Springer talks, his confidence truly inspires me to be more confident, what an amazing guy
George springer is very inspiring
Humble dude . Respect.
This is a great show. ARod ’s experience and knowledge of the game help his journalistic abilities. While playing he was one of the best ever. Current players realize that and it makes for a better interview.
DeLa Sol
czcams.com/video/lxPNcrvR46Q/video.html you f ing idiot
Dela Sol I’ve been saying that the whole time. These are amazing videos. I don’t even watch or play baseball but here I am watching all of these interviews
Im a 15 year old baseball player who stutters and kids have made fun of me on the baseball field because I stutter George Springer inspired me to just block all of the out and just a couple months later I made my scouting profile and am talking to a couple of coaches. So Thank you George Springer for inspiring me if it weren't for you I would have never made it this far
Keep at it kid. Hope everything's going well. Good luck to ya.
I wish more players could be more like George, such a great player and even better person
I'm just amazed at how A-Rod conducts an interview. If there are any cue cards, I missed them. He just gets guys to open up and let's them talk.
I know George Springer is a major talent, became familiar with him two years ago, but I didn't know he battles stuttering. You could pick it up in the interview, and you could hear him self-correct like the pro he is. What a tremendous role model he is for those plagued with the impairment.
A-Rod's schtick will be, "One last question.... " Did you see how he directed one of his cameramen to give us a better view? Do you see how he addresses the camera and seems like he's talking directly to us? The guy's a natural. And so is Springer. Baseball is in good hands....
Spencer Grant well that's bc he's a baseball player and not a sports writer. Baseball players are always the best interviewers of baseball players.
Spencer Grant
His interviewing is decent but his commentating... or helping Matt vasgersian commentate... absolutely HORRIBLE comments. Sounds so bad. 😂
I have much respect for this guy being able to speak out even when struggling with his stutter. -coming from a Red Sox fan
Skyler McGrath do you still respect him after being down 0-1 in the ALCS? Lol
BRO SKI as a player and person yes as a member of the Astros no
love how they arent editing these interviews feel like it makes it more personal.
After this video George is now my favorite MLB player
I Love You George! Very Humble... 🐐
this is a great interview style
I love George Springer, he's the catalyst for the team
Who cares if George if you studder you have us best gift ever as Astros fan we champs
hes fuckin stoned leave him alone
Seriously 20+ years. We need you!
What a well-spoken humble dude and he is one of the best players out there
As long as he's able to hear the trash can.
Yo as a Yankees fan, the Astros players are some of the greatest people to talk to it seems. Some of their pitchers seem kinda stuck up, but the position players are very interesting and humble people
This...this didnt age well... Humble people... yeah right lmao
A rod is unbelievable , such a polarizing player . But he is unbelievable as in segments like this and his in game analysis is quality too!
What a great guy! Love his openness about his speech impediment. The way he relays the missed play and then the dinger. Great job A Rod!!!
George springer you are a great person man!!!!
Alex: What's your mindset?
George: Well, I just have to tune out all the background to make sure I can hear the trash can bang.
Hahahahhahahahaha
Lol
George Springer your a great dude enjoy watching you play
So glad he plays for the Astros. A great guy on and off the field.
Idk how you can't like this Astro's team. Just great, humble guys. So glad they got a chip.
@@kareberntsen7834 You sure about that?
Oh boy
Bang
L
This was one of the best sports interviews i have ever watched. Wow
Both great guys! Awesome interview
Alex is truly a great interviewer and George just a fantastic person so articulate now after fighting with a stuttering problem and a great ball player 2 excellent interview
Springer and Rendon are my two favorite baseball players..
Springer is awesome!
Great interview 😉
OMG I found The Astros camera!!!! 1:03 in the upper area
Respect man
I love these videos!
Im a BIG Springer fan ! He looks out for his community . SAY . I support it . If Astros win , Springer will be MVP
Great ballplayer thanks for the interview 💯
Dude with just tremendous talent. I would love to have him on my Yankees.
Yea george ! Go rock cats 860 represent ! I pitched against against you in highschool when you played at avon old farms vs southington back in 08ish ! Glad too see how far youve come as a baseball player !
Playing catch with Torii Hunter was the inspiration into the reason we all got to hear "high fly ball goodbye!"
Future Met George Springer
Awesome interview by Alex unedited

Arod makes this great, because all the other ball players clearly have respect for him.

Respect 🙌 🤲
Bang bang bang
🗑 🤛🏻
Keep these guys astros for life (Altuve, Springer, Correa) I could see bregman leaving for a diff piece and moving Correa to 3rd but I honestly hope we keep bregman. Little beast is my favorite stro
Upgrade interview good job
Am I the only one here in 2020 looking in center field for the camera
This is another reason why Springer is my favorite Astro and MLB player.
"There's a certain dynamic to if i would swing or i wouldn't swing" - it's like they want you to know. And then ARod wants to know about how he saw pitches coming in and says "take me to the scene of the crime" LOL
I hope to see him, and any other player from 2017, shake his hand, look him in the eye, and say THANK YOU!
For cheating?? Lol
@@jonathanrecinos5894 for winning, of course! Don't hate the player, hate the game! Lol
Welcome to Toronto
It's interesting to see Arod know what shots he wants the viewers to see and be decisive enough to tell the cameraman where to go. It could be awkward, but maybe he has seen NBA on TNT or the NFL pregame shows where they deftly handle it as briefly but effectively as possible.
Next interview with Alex will be "George Springer and Alex Rodriguez converse about their love of cheating in baseball"
Ilol
As a Dodger fan, its hard to have anything against him for beating us in the world series
Alex Gonzalez being a dodgers fan myself only person we can blame is yu darvish
We gotta stay strong, boys 😭😂
nbmjustin
Dude. Stop. Being salty. That. The. Dodgers. Choke.
nbmjustin as an Astros fan, I LOVE YU darvish!!!!
nbmjustin blame KerChoke
Alex is such a phenomenal analyst, I wonder if he's juicing his brain now... 🤔
lmao hahahaha
Heidi Kleindienst nah, you‘ don’t play as well as he did just from steroids. Even when he younger in mariners day before the juice he was a fucking beast. He’s talented as fuck but definitely enhanced his physique
BRO SKI he was on them since high school. Hes from florida highschool and they’re notorious for juicing athletes down there
🤔😁😃
Hahahahaha
Go Astros
carlos corea e George springer Puerto rican pride
edwin gonzalez springer isn’t even from Puerto Rico
He's half Puertorrican!
Gabriel Coria hes half puerto rican so it counts... do your research first before commenting
20BulletProof10 fuck off how about that
yes half Puerto rican most Puerto Ricans are half taino we are still part taino and proud of it same with half Puerto Ricans like Bruno mars
Fucking awesome guy
Ironically, George's speech therapy made him one of the best players at giving interviews.
Gave us
that watch
He should have told Alex about how the trash can to help him hit.
I used to stutter a little when I was a kid; frustrating as heck.
Anyone know what shoes those are
Rawlings Top Of The Line
Gold Glove On Rodiguez.
Welcome to the Blue Jays! 🐦🇨🇦
A Connecticut kid that swings like Roberto Clemente 🇵🇷 and gets rings like Mariano Rivera 🇵🇦. Blessed without a doubt!
Alcides Cerrud really good player no doubt
He's blessed with the trash can
a rod is really good at this
Editor must have been on lunch when this came through to their desk
I don’t even like baseball I just think A Rod is a great interviewer.
Crazy how you can still notice his studder. I didnt believe it at first.
jay rosales It depends on the situation. When he first came up, I didn’t realize that he stuttered. I think at that time he spoke really slow so his mouth could catch up with his brain. He’s such a good guy that sometimes I forget he stutters lol
I have no problem understanding what he says. Great ball player 👍
*****
He was definitely made for ⚾️
Ed Reed, Sean Taylor, Ronnie Lott are Safety’s.
That’s what you think of when you think of an NFL Safety.
Springer def has the athletic skills & ability to do whatever sport he wanted to and be great @ it but he was meant to play Baseball.
hey chreater
🗑
RumSpringer for president
Alex is too pretty i el anillo pa cuando
I swear baseball players are so fucking strong. I mean on tv Springer looks pretty normal, but up close the dude has huge arms.

A-rod for team manager please 👆
The evolution of Cheating
Yes
Torii Hunter, one of the “all time greats”? Pfffttt!!! Please, ARod, Torii could play ball, but is nowhere NEAR one of the all time greats with a .277 career BA.
Won a bunch of Gold Gloves, hit over couple hundred homers, played on a bunch of good big league clubs, and made 100’s of millions for the umpteen years he played at a high level. Maybe not Hall of Famer but on the tier right before not bad for a Guy that definitely played the game with a Hall of Fame smile on his face.
To bad this video means nothin because they cheated by stealing signs 🤷🏻♂️
Man! Very likable guy (Springer) if only he wasn’t part of a cheating organization.
So George let's say I was gonna throw you an off speed pitch
BANG BANG BANG
check his back stats and minors.....hes pure legit
Funny looking back at this knowing about cheating
You know a lot of people say they don’t mind steroids in the game, but it’s nice to see players look like human beings, yeah he’s got some muscle, but check out the highlights from 90’s and early 2000’s baseball, players look like freaks, they can’t even fit into their pants.
Springer didn’t tell him about his love of using cameras, televisions, and garbage cans for sparking the offense.
This guy mentions Doug Mientkiewicz! LOL. Like if you have no clue who he is! lol
Springer iz ~ThA BiZzNiSs*
A cheater and arod
Why stop as baseball player become the first stuttering President of the US.
I'm the greatest baseball player of all time. My sprite commercial is proof
