Nkoranza (or Nkoransa) is a town located in the mid-north of Ghana. It is the district capital of the Nkoranza District in the Bono East Region.
A leading Brong town, the Nkoranza town led the 1892-93 Brong rebellion against the Ashanti.
Nkoranza is a town located in the newly created Bono East Region, from the Former Mother Region Brong Ahafo, which use to Host the now Ahafo Region and the current Bono East Region.
Nkoranza is now in the Bono East Region whose capital is Techiman.
The Bono East region of Ghana is a new region carved out of the Brong Ahafo region. The capital of the new region is Techiman. The Bono East Region borders on the north the Savannah Region, on the west the Bono Region, on the south the Ashanti region and on the east the Volta Lake.

Good work done. Whilst you have finished Berekum, Dormaa-Ahenkro, Nkoranza, Wenchi, Techiman and Sunyani , l hope you're not too far from Ahafo, you can start from the gate way to the region Duayaw/Nkwanta then Bechem, Techimantia, Goaso and all the District capitals in Ahafo region.
l will be pleased to see how these towns has been developed.
