she was literally just ravaged by the wendigo, to the point where she was unconscious for most of the night. She could barely walk by the end of it and was barely cognizant. It’s tragic to see, but her actress conveyed it perfectly
I'd say that Sam is close behind. Anyone who believes her insistent "I'm fine" as true has no idea. She is rejecting the idea of talking about what she went through because it's easier than facing it. I'm sure Josh told people the same thing after Beth and Hannah died.
Definitely physically, but I don't know about mentally because she was knocked out for most of the game
Jordan Fisher is a phenomenal actor. His portrayal as Matt during the end credits, no matter what dialogue, just blows my mind.
Yeah and in certain scenes where "Matt" is is trouble you can hear the fear in the voice. Jordan fisher is great at making his characters sound like they would in real life

I completely forgot that Matt is pretty clueless as far as all of this goes. When everyone found out that it was Josh playing a prank on them, Matt wasn't there, and he wasn't in the lodge, and he only knows a little bit about the Wendigo. Matt almost got left behind, no one even asked where he was, or if they did they just took "I dunno". Matt was an awesome character he deserves better than thaaat
Sanaa yeah, it’s so weird to think that without Sam, Mike, Ashley or Chris surviving Matt just never finds out that josh was the psycho all along.
true, matt is also the only character that can die before encountering any wendigos (when you attack the deer at the clifftop)

Pikipek The Bird Jessica is my favorite character in the game. I wish she had more screen time so maybe she would have reached the same bitchiness level like Emily. I really like how her character developed and I wish we could have seen more from her.
Jess is the Best. Emily no, just no.
And she was the one who planned the prank on Hannah, and then one year later Hannah basically mangled her body and left her traumatized probably for the rest of her life. Poor Jess she deserved more screen time, and so did Matt. Sadly the devs didn't find them useful enough near the end sadly.

She's mentally fucked beyond repair, probably. She became the most broken by the end of the game.
Gotta say, just these three characters surviving would give the police the absolute most confusing testimonies ever. Jess doesn’t know anything, Matt still thinks the psycho stuff was real, and Chris knows about Josh and the Wendigos. They’d have no idea who was telling the truth.
I feel bad for Matt, he gets treated like shit by Emily and he’s completely clueless about what josh did and knows little about the wendigo and almost got left behind I also have maaad respect for Jordan Fischer who played Matt really well
I think Emily is still redeemable. If you have a high relationship status with her and Matt dies, she apologizes and says she was a bitch to him

Emily is a lot better than people realize. You should see the bonus chapter of Mat and Emily. Really shows how great they are as a couple.

Meaghan Martin as Jess is AMAZING. She gets a lot of slack for her roles in Camp Rock and Mean Girls 2 but her acting, especially in the end, as she portrays this broken, petrified young girl as if she were one in real life.
Holy shit I never noticed that shes jo in mean girls!! she was so good in until dawn, mean girls 2 doesnt show her potential at all
The writers did so well with creating these characters, even through different storylines!

If you ask me, the game’s storyline has too many holes in it. Josh is supposed to have pulled a revenge plan on his friends and yet the only ones he torments are the ones least responsible, namely Sam and Chris, who were not even part of the prank, and Ashley, who was the least active of the pranksters. If Jess survives, I don’t think she even knows there’s been a “Psycho prank” by Josh! Like one of you said, Matt still thinks Josh was killed by the Psycho, even if he learns about the wendigos in the mines, he still doesn’t know WHAT they are. I don’t know, it all seems kind of weird to me. Thank heavens it’s just a game!

@@professorpyne Well josh is a mentally I'll man in desperate need of help, so it's not surprising to me.
I don't think I really paid attention to it before, but Matt and Jess are the least clued in to what's going on. All Jess knows is that there's a monster in the mines, she wasn't there for any of the drama that happened with Josh or finding out about the wendigos. And Matt knows a bit about the drama, but he didn't get clued in about the wendigos. Seems like he only gets one encounter with them, that ends in either death or survival. Frankly, Matt and Emily are pretty amazing, they keep their heads well in a chase.
Matt and Jessica are the only ones that have no idea that the psycho was josh
Jess knew that there was something in the mines but had no idea abt what happened to the lodge (Psycho) while Matt knew about the psycho but had no idea abt the wendigo. They're both out of place in the game in my opinion, I guess they were't really a part of the original friends/gang.

I checked the wiki; it says that if Ash, Sam and Jess die, he'll only talk about Josh and how the wendigo took him down into the mines.

Oh man Matt wasn’t there when the flamethrower dude showed up, and he never really got a good look at a wendigo. He just shoots it with the flare gun and hides from it. Never really has to fight it or anything like Mike or Emily did. If he ever does it results in his death. Dude has no idea what’s happening 😂

Dude I wish I managed to see a playthrough of this game that saved Matt. Everytime I watch one of these end credit videos his voice actor is just absolutely stunning. "That's why. I was on. THAT FUCKING GODDAMN TOWER IN THE FIRST PLACE!"

I question whether it was Josh who cut down the radio tower to make it collapse. I mean his pranks weren't designed to get any of the others killed but it seems pretty obvious that falling from that height is likely going to get a person killed. I wondered if there was a 3rd or even 4th enemy that was never explained - what's to say that what ever got Jess wasn't the Wendigo? I mean the only reason Josh got dragged off by Wendigo Hannah was because he said her name and thus some part of her didn't want to kill him - what's the logic with Jessica being dragged off instead of killed immediately if it was Wendigo Hannah or any of the other Wendigos?
It was shown and known to be the wendigo knocking down the tower. As for saving Jess? Well it’s likely just plot armor because they don’t want any character just guaranteed to be dead early. Same reasoning why as Mike even if you fail every QTE in sanitarium you just get rescued rather than killed by the wendigos

Why the police doesn't tell Jessica that Mike died in the fire? She asks "Where is he? Did he make it"? and Mike can only die in the lodge so that doesn't make any sence. I wanted to see her reaction.
Snow The Hero it's probably because they can tell that she is messed up and traumatized so telling her about how her significant other is dead will just make things worse.( I also don't want to see my favorite character cry or anything)

So, of all the endings, which is the true ending? I’ve heard it’s the one where they all survive (except Hannah, Beth and the flamethrower guy, they will die no matter what). But I’m not too sure. Is it likely that all of them would have survived? The ending where they all die is too sad. Even the ending where everyone who was involved with the prank dies (Jess, Matt, Ashley, Mike and Emily), leaving only Chris, Sam and Josh alive at the end is, in my opinion, still too sad. I don’t know. What do you folks think? Which ending do you think is the true ending?
+Professor Pyne They should all live, even my least favorite Emily. I think it's silly to condemn teenagers to death because they played a prank (something most teenagers have done at some point). Not saying the prank was justified, but Hannah did kind of bring it down on herself because she was trying to fuck Mike while he was dating Emily. They did not intend for Hannah to get herself killed.

Being the only survivor in an entire lodge of dead bodies, while the police clearly don't believe your stories of a maniac/wendigo.. well, you're kinda fucked.
Almost all of the sole survivors would probably be arrested, besides Jessica and possibly Ashley considering they were too traumatized/injured to be framed for anything
@@larsontv2993 and I think Emily wouldn't get arrested. She's probably the only character who actually says something useful about Wendigo and told them about Beth's head. Plus she says it very calmly and I pretty sure the police officer believes her (he even says they should check this out or something like that). And don't forget about her bite, it's not like bear could bite her, or another animal. Only Wendigo, plus she can have a scratch on her arm, also proof.
But about Ashley, all her lines is very weird and didn't have any proof. If she let Chris die, Ashley says "and I saw it, tear him apart, right in front of me". Pretty creepy. Then about Jess, but again, no proof, Jess is dead, and Ash is only survivor. And when police will find a Jessica's body in the mines, they would be confused af. Then line about Josh. Police officer says "didn't know? Who did you stab?" with very sceptical tone. And her line about Wendigo is not useful, only "he's down there", and that's it.

Honestly it'd be preferable, and that's from someone who actually likes Emily to some degree HDHF. Emily is way too cruel for Matt and Mike kinda just, sucked, half the game. He got better towards the end but -

I have no idea why the game is so in love with Chris being decapitated. Chris's deaths were the most unoriginal. Matt had falling off a cliff, getting caught on a meat hook, and getting his face smashed in. Mike has the coolest death in the game if you fail to get out of the lobby. Emily also had a wide variety. Getting her eyes gouged out, getting half her body torn to shreds. I wish Chris had a better variety instead of just getting his head cut off.
