The Glass family started drilling water wells in Central Texas in 1902. By 1971, Glass Well Service Co. was formed upon the legacy of Delby Glass, whose knowledge, honesty, and business sense became the foundation for the six-generation company we are today.
While writing my own chapter of our legacy, I’ve taken the challenge to train myself in both sides of the trade as a water well guy and mastering water treatment solutions. Growing up appreciating Dad’s work in the field, I’ve seen the progression of the industry, the tools, and technologies we have now and explored new solutions such as drives and solar pumping systems: all while staying true to our commitment to the customers.
With the winter storm that hurt us this year, our immediate challenge is doing as much as we can to cover all service and repairs - the jobs nearly doubled from 2020! The challenge ahead is passing along the craft and service of delivering such a vital resource for mankind.
