Man, when I was a kid, I was the opposite. I always try to be grateful for what I get, and when I was 5, I wanted these Bumble slippers, and on Christmas day, I opened up a box of Cheerios. So I said "Thank you so much, this is my favorite cereal!" And mom and dad told me to open it, and inside were the Bumble slippers. Ah, good times.

I found the Christmas presents when we were little and my younger brother thought it would be a good idea to tell dad he knew what he was getting. Come Christmas morning he had nothing under the tree. He cried the whole day while my sister and I played with our toys. We still laugh about it every year. He did get his gifts later in the day

Today my brother got a DS game inside an allergy medicine box. Before he opened the box he said “ this is not what I was expecting” Then, he opened the box and found Pokémon white inside.
(He’s 15 and he was seriously okay with getting allergy medicine for Christmas. I’m glad it wasn’t allergy medicine or I would have yelled at my parents)

What I got for Christmas was a molar that was broken in half. I accidentally ate a popcorn kernel and snapped my molar straight in half, no joke! Also, another one of my presents was a trip to the dentist's office. Maybe some likes would make me feel better?

My “crying over Christmas presents” story is kind of weird. Technically it didn’t even happen on Christmas, but it’s still a fun story.
When I was 6 years old, I really wanted a Sailor Moon Action Figure. Even though I knew nothing about Sailor Moon I was crazy about that action figure. I kind of have an obsession with articulated dolls.
Anyway, my Mom didn’t want me to have one because it was super expensive, as well as the fact that her skirt was too short.
However, I brought it back up again several years later. At this point I had watched Sailor Moon, and fell in love with the show. And on my birthday, my mom went above and beyond. She bought me a whole set of Super Sailor Moon figures. I have no idea why, but I started crying. It felt like a childhood dream had come true.
Sorry that was so long, this is the first time I was brave enough to actually comment, which is weird considering I’m not even looking at or talking to y’all.
