1. Did you use to do things you wish you had never done?
I didn't use to learn English in my young years. I very much regret about it now)
2. What did Claire's friend use to do?
Claire's friend used to play the piano.
3. What health problems did Claire's friend get?
From a long playing the piano from a friend Claire developed сarpal tunnel syndrome in both of his wrists.
4. What did Claire's friend start to do after he gave up music?
He didn't give up and he became a magician.
5. What do you do when life is hard on you?
(Beaumarchais used to instruct me: "Listen, old Salieri,
Whenever black thoughts come into your head,
Uncork yourself another Champagne bottle
Or reread 'Le mariage de Figaro.'"))
Hi there
3 From a long playing the piano from a friend - we can't say like that
the reason of carpal tunnel syndrome is long hours of playing the piano. It's better to say
Because of long hours of playing the piano Claire's friend got (developed) carpal tunnel syndrome.
5 Oh, I like that)))
@@okenglish-practice 3.Thanks, I understood.
5. Pushkin is our everything... therefore these lines sound better in the original Russian but it's really nice and funny in any language)
@@ivansidorov9813 I trully believe that Russian poetry should be read only in Russian. I tried to read it in the translation, it's awful.
@@okenglish-practice I totally agree with you. To be honest, this is really terrible))
Of course I did. I used to think a lot instead of do. Used to blame people around me instead seach problem inside of me.
Clarie's friend used to practice playing the piano too hard. It cost him his hands.
Clarie's friend got carpal tunnel syndrome. It's effected his fingers. They started numbing, tingling and lots of pain.
After he gave up music he didn't give up to life. He became a magitian.
I'm running away from circle of repeating thoughts and search for solution. If something in your life goes not like you want - there are always the ways to solve any problems. Focus! Nothing is impossible to a willing heart.
What you used to read when you were a kid?
I used to run couple years ago. I need to start over.
I didn't know English tree years ago as well as I know now.
Hi everyone! Did you use to do things you wish you never had done? My friend used to collect 100$ bills. He did it well but he spent too much time on it and realise when became 30. He had to give up this idea. Moreover, he used to have pain, stress and dissatisfaction with life. Hell yeah! Now he's all right because he didn't give up his life. Instead of increase zeros on his bank account he spend it enjoying the life. He meets friends and colleges in the evening and during the day. He became more social.
Life can be a hard nut so let's become nutcrackers.

Yes, there are many things that I wish I had never used to do. What about Claire's friend - he used to play a piano, but later he had an ache in both wrists. The aches were too heavy. So he gave up music and became a magician. So if the life is hard to you, you should be strong and seek for new opportunities, so do I.
«Не забил болт» Хм ,хм, да отлично сказано заодно и феню подучим.

1) From my point of view, we are like a stone once fallen down to the sea. In the beginning, it has many sharp edges but after a while its surface becomes smooth and waves don't bother one anymore like earlier. Can we say that the stone didn’t need it? It became better exactly!

Хотела спросить, ( может не по теме, просто после вашей практики я открываю книгу на английском и отмечаю пройденную с вами тему, для того чтобы закрепить материал) Почему в предложении « She’s used to flying around outside “ 1)used to используется с глаголом be ( is) Ведь “ “used to “ это не состояние, а глагол и вообще он Past Simple. 2) почему после « used to “ идёт глагол +ing?)
Мы будем проходить далее оборот be \ get used to + ing.

I used to search lessons a lot.

you wish you had never done - как это уложить в голове , как то сложно у меня с этим и подобным.
3 conditional
to give up вернее сказать бросить, he had to give music, он решил бросить занятия музыкой, хотя это я уже придираюсь, извините если что.
Должно быть - he had to give up music.
