Ghost Town in Maggie Valley NC, where you ride the chairlift to the top of the mountain. It closed years ago and people have tried to get it going again but have no luck with it. I don't believe it will ever open again even with a different theme. The property isn't safe after landslides.

Randy Poffo was a catcher who got run over at home plate sometime in 1971-72. He became a lefty-throwing OF. There's no such thing as a left-handed SS, at least since the 19th Century. Still a remarkable achievement to convert from being a righty to a lefty.

It’s between Boone and Blowing Rock. There’s also Ghost Town In The Sky in Maggie Valley NC that’s changed owners a dozen or so times in the past 20 years and is closed now.

There's been some guitarists who have lost parts of their fingers. The most famous is probably Tony Iommi who lost a couple finger tips in an industrial accident. I think Jerry Garcia lost part of a finger as a child as well. I know it's not quite the same as losing entire fingers, but I would imagine it still makes playing a lot harder.

Jerry Garcia had most of the middle finger on his right hand missing. Country singer songwriter Billie Joe shaver got all of the fingers cut off of his right hand cut off at a sawmill he worked at. Jerry said missing the middle finger didn't effect his picking at all and he was a great banjo and pedal steel player both require a lot of finger picking

So I love I got to watch them as their careers were blooming. Funny u mention Dundee cause Bill would come down here sometimes . I seen him when they did shows informally fields here to raise money for little league football. My fav he had come in was Jimmy Valiant he was awesome and nice as could be. I always thought it was funny that uswa 2 biggest stars kids wrestled under neath their fathers.
