Taking away walk-ons would ruin the sport. It’s already the Wild West with NIL stuff.
Back in the 70s and 80s, UT/OU kickoff was always between 1:30 and 2:30. I could never understand the 11 time slot.
66-74 My Dad had season tickets and We went to THE GAME Every TDay Night + Bon Fire & MidNite Yell!.
Exactly Walk Ons are Essential and part of the CFB Tarditions that Need to Continue.
Walk Ons often times have other scholarships and student financial aid.
I love how everyone thinks two spotting is a new thing that needs to be explained
Ahhh the coach Dub.... who said Texas had 2 receivers drafted.....forgot to do his homework and realize there were 3 receivers drafted
Ok who was the 2nd UT walkOn that is disdained?
NCAA has really screwed up not being pro active
Please keep covering the changing environment of college football. Removing collectives, a salary cap, roster reductions, NFL lite will suck. It's time to break away from this shit. We know how well Texas fared from 1982-2023. There were a few bright moments but mostly underachievement.
You know they won’t be able to do this. The can has been opened and it won’t be able to be closed.
86 Scholarships and 20 Others. No Don't End Walk Ons
No CFB shouldn’t fight the NFL on thanksgiving now. When it was on back in the day it was only a Texas and the cowboys. Now there’s 3 NFL games or 4. Can’t remember but Black Friday is great and definitely not Saturday
It’s not about being afraid it’s about being smart. People love football but sorry majority don’t like CFB over the pros bc the majority of CFB fans teams suck. Friday is the day
No sorry Ian and Joe this isn’t the time nor place to fight this. I would love it btw on thanksgiving but I’m not ignorant
