I always look forward to your videos. My project is done. I finished all the work about 3 weeks ago It took me all summer as I could only do the work in my spare time. The car has been painted with computer-matched factory paint and cleared. There is no way I could have completed the job without your video help. What got me through was "don't overthink it" and "don't worry about this and this and this, only concentrate on this" As I mentioned before in other comments I have never welded before, never mind the fabrication of panels that I can not buy. Instead of filler, I used lead for any and all imperfections and I can not get over how perfect the job turned out. You can not tell that it was ever repaired. I will always look for your new videos as I still want to learn even though my project is complete thanks to you.

This is "Acid Dipping" being done on THE ROCK! So many mainlanders have little idea as to the expense AND time necessary to transport anything to the Rock. At $80.00 per car AND $30.00/per passenger (CDN), it takes around 16 hours to get to the east side of the island. As Tony said, just LOCATING a rust-free specimen is a challenge in itself. I'm always amazed watching your transformations, after bending time for over 50 years myself I have much respect for your work.
    Stay safe, Tony!

Brilliant video. Always fascinating. Absolutely loved the recent 66 Mustang video. When things don`t go right and you have to walk away and think and then come back - that`s the real world (things don`t always go according to plan, for whatever reason). I quoted the Mustang video to the wife, who was having issues with her hobby- sewing. I said, even the professionals in whatever field don`t get things right all the time, just walk away and come back at a later date.
It worked; she didn`t kick seven bells out of me, because she`s stressed.

Hi Tony. I wanted to expose you to a rust prevention product (if you don't already know about it). It is called Surface Shield. It is a lanolin that gets sprayed on say the bottom of a car. Repair Geek has a video on this product showing the underside of his dad's truck and it has had this product applied for 5 years. They reside in Northern Ohio and the roads are salted. He also has a link in the description to Amazon if you can afford the shipping cost. I don't know why counties do this to each other as it is nothing more than a money grab. I am considering applying this to my '56 Chevy rebuild when complete. I do not plan on driving it in bad weather, it is a rusty piece and I want to keep it going for years to come. I am also using other paint products to aid in prevention so I am not going to rely on Surface Shield alone, just an added insurance in problem places.
