Members of KNOWER and Moonchild just casually partaking in this awesome piece. 👌🏽
There’s a couple of moonchild references in his One Minute Jazz Lessons, it’s fun
How can Louis Cole be so tight and so loose and groovy at the same time?
You don't F it up when you work overtime to get all the things right during the weird parts of the night.
Blasting this constantly in the car and kitchen, love this, Jacob Collier's Anconda is another stuttering piano vamp.
If I worked for Nintendo, I would license this song for Mario Kart. Great piece. Love the chords, the horns, Cole's impeccable drumming, kick drum matching the piano. Love it.
The Bari player is so smooth i thought it was a bass clarinet everytime i heard it
jon hatamiya (trombone) taught my combo at a jazz camp this summer. great player and a really cool guy
Your group was killin! I'm Henry, was the drummer in Alan Ferber's combo (#28)
i didn't notice this gem cruising past a quarter million views. Congrats, JMBB!
I love the "in the room" sound of these.
in a hell bad place right now and this tune cheered me up in the four times i've listened to it today, thanks man. and thanks for all your videos too; they're a constant source of joy
yes, a friend sent me this just yesterday, and it cheered me up too!
Jacob Mann, I've been listening to "Kogi" for weeks now. Thank you so much. The main theme of this song is everything... Highly addictive melody ! Cant get enough of this (sometimes i repeat the intro 2 or 3 times in a row, just to enjoy these chords at the beginning. So freakin good, damn) Congrats to all the musicians and greetings from Switzerland !
I'm a piano player and studying arranging, and I found big band music finally what I really feel connected !yayyya! thank you so much for fresh new music of big band!
Holy shit it’s Jon playing that sick solo?? I’ve met him in person
I love how pressing 5 goes right to the lick
been hooked on this song ever since it popped up on my spotify
What a stacked lineup of musicians!
This could be one of few big bands to make it today! Great music & w/ LC on drums!!
This is so dope!!! I love it.The syncopated horn lines had me groovin'
Such a beatiful music. Damn
Man, this is truly awesome!
Marvellous. Great band. God bless you. Thanks
This is so damn cool; I have goosebumps!
awesome i enjoy your videos but man this was really smooth and catchy! really amazing nice work!
This is sooooo tight. Love it!
What a beautiful tune, and killer trombone solo! Must-buy piece of music!
you brightened my day a lot by giving the "choose your adventure" section. loved that
Every Time I'm In A bad mood I'm listening to Kogi and especially Jon and the sun is shining again....Thanx guys, really.
Wow, really marvelous! I love modern Big Bands. Great arrangements and musicianship's Jacob and the others!
that bone solo! heeeell yeeeah!
Jon taught my school combo for a while. He's such a great player!
This stuff right here......deserves way more attention.
love how the bass comes in at 2:02 and gives this foundation...very nice effect
This is the best~big band lives!😀
Discovered you guys on spotify, didnt know this was 7 years ago, luvin it much
revisiting yet again for my favourite trombone solo ever
Probably the best changes I've ever heard
Those Animations are Superb!
The face the other trombone player makes at 2:45 says it all
Thanks for the music!
This is killing man!!
too. good. can't it out of my head, so I bought it on his bandcamp and so should you
Killer bone solo!
dayummm dope af, pressed 5 and it worked!!!
Amazing
The most killing trombone solo. Congratulations Jill Stein
holy shit trombone solo is so good
Great composition Jacob... and that Trombone player was incredibly brave to solo over those changes.... YOW!! ... Bravo all the way around. I don't think people know how on point you have to play in an ensemble like that... inspiring TY
I would say the changes aren't that hard, just F major and Ab major.
@@aritzluzuriaga6344yeah I concur they’re rather tonal and melodic so to say to solo over. It’s nothing skew like giant steps I.e which is rather less approachable in a melodic sense
brilliant!!!
I'm really enjoying perusing your music/channel
Lovely track ....
That was dope!
amazing. amazing.
Increible musica. Aplausos desde Argentina
There's a cognitive dissonance between watching and hearing the trombone solo. It's like watching an old Japanese movie where the English dub doesn't match the lips at all. And it was the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.
Love this
Best big group showpiece since So What.
i’m in love.
Rule of Thumb: If you do anything slightly weird in a Jacob Mann video, he WILL make fun of you for it. Hahahahah.
so good!!!!
This is like "Car 23" by Yoko Kanno & SEATBELTS, Act 2. Freaking BRILLIANT!
Louis Cole on drums!
So fresh
It’s too much- soooo good
Jon Hatamaya making me regret my life choices. Why didn't I learn the trombone so I too could whip out such a sick solo??
mi sono commosso.
Almost 3 years and I’m just now finding this!?!?! I’ll sue!
This is actually pretty good.
Killin!!!!
Cool bone solo.
Light as air
nice bechstein sound wow!
Too good
louis cole keepin it tight
I have been watching this video since it first came out and today is the day I realized that I could actually press 5 or 7 and it would be accurate... what a trip LMAO
I really love it! for some reason I feel like it would sound better just a bit slower though...
Can anyone comprehend how good this is
i should have known it was louis cole. no one else on this earth can knit funk that tight
oh hell yeah
we need a 8bit version of this
Came from melee moments
Song goes hard af
I'm a Luigi main... Was not expecting to hear myself in the background of a Melee moments video 😂😂😂
Camera: How much time do i wait before i can focus?
The cameraman: *yes*
The beginning reminds me of “transatlantic by quantic”
Jacob is the "Mann"
i love you mr. ox
Great sound…. I says “ good morning”
Subbed fam 🙏🏼🔥
bananas
Holy shit!
(In a good way)
That moment when the lick is exactly halfway through the video so it will skip right to it when you press 5
this is just lushous. luchious? lushis
Loved it on Spotify, accidentally clicked on it on CZcams. Don't think it's a coincidence tho 💕 love it guys.
Sorry Jacob , I didnt immediatly recognise your name . . . . but after hearing the off time stabs , couple of the horn lines and the drumming, . . I knew Louis was in there somewhere . . , good track, guys . . . :)
h mack brought me here. nice one.
Anyone got the sheet music for this awesome tune?
Reminds me of march of the dreadnoughts from Final Fantasy
Fuck yeah man
oh shi its jon hatamiya what a badass
oh shi its Adam Neely, same
Wait Adam you know Jon???
didn't know you were a jon hatamiya fan too
Yo ur that guy who hates whiplash
@@Joemo-ml7tg lol, he didn't hate it. He said it was a great movie, that got jazz culture wrong.
