    This job would’ve been a nightmare without this video! Thank you for making such a clear and awesome showing 😁

    Anyone who is having a HARDTIME REMOVING the COIL PACK, I used a long nose hose plier (the ones with the clamp angled). Since the clamp is angled, it would roughly be horizontal with the coil while the handle of the plier will be angled upward, I placed another tool like a screwdriver to provide the fulcrum, and press down on the handle, raising the clamp upwards. That did the trick for both. It doesn't damage the coil pack either.
    Also another trick is to use a shoe string slip knot. Self explanatory! (Ok, slip it over the pack, let the noose tighten, pull vertically out from above). I haven't done this but people have recommended this.

    Maybe I'll go shovel snow this winter to make enough money to pay a dealership service department to do the work, so I don't end up like this -> 🤪

    14:42 unfortunately it seems normal if you are worried about the duck-tape, I have the same installation on the tracer 900, also a friend on the fazer 8, it looks like someone has already done it, but it's actually so factory-made

      I thought it is only on my bike. I just don't get why did they taped all the wires right above the spark plugs. There is so much room on both sides and you would have clear way to the plugs. This way you have pull so hard like you are going to rip everything just to get the coil out and put the socket wrench.

    Love the vid and your vidoes in general! Really love your build on the XSR 700!! I spot that you have got some new mirrors (tiny tiny ones), what are those and what hand guards do you have, is it still the SW-Motech?

      Thank you so much! Yes, sw motech. The small mirrors are on testing :)

    Hi, very much appreciate your video! Quick question - do you have a part number for the Iridium spark plugs you mention to use?
    I've searched NGK's website and can only find Nickel plugs compatible with the XSR700 (NGK 4313 LMAR8A-9 Nickel Spark Plug).
    Cheers

    Awesome video, but please use a torque wrench for the spark plugs. Too much torque and they might snap...

    • @ayamotoadventures
      @ayamotoadventures Před rokem +1

      Thx! I will need to buy a torque wrench for sure because I will change the chain and sprockets too and it is useful for other things too.
      I don't need the wrench for spark plugs because I can tighten them by feeling since I do it for years on my scooter. Also, it would be very hard to replace the plugs with a bigger wrench.

    Rotating a coil pack like a screw a bad idea or?

      What do you mean?

    • @Simplytravels013

      @ayamotoadventures i was taking the coil pack out i twisted it like a screw ,and when i installed back in i twisted it again like we tight a nut or screw,,
      I was wondering if its bad idea to do it or ,i supposed to just take it out in straight up ,and straight back in motion

    • @ayamotoadventures
      @ayamotoadventures Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@Simplytravels013 You have to pull it out vertically just like i did. It does not have a thread so twisting won't do anything.
