Hello Greg, love your work! Btw how was the mdf board connected to the wall? Also, did you put hidden holes for the wires to come out of the back?
¡¡ Wow muy lindo.!!😃👍👍👍👍👍

Hi Greg love this build of your wall unit I'm planning on doing this. But i live in the USA. What type of board did you use and for the small pieces you glue together. Thanks again for absolutely beautiful wall unit.
Thanks for the support, the board is called mdf superwood, please share when you done on my social media
Goeie werk Greg! Bly die besigheid kom mooi aan. Watter supplier het die dun hout strips vir jou gesny?
Superb design dear...
Perfect!
Hey Greg, did you manage to post the plans for this piece yet? Would like to get started tomorrow!
wow nice work dude.
Hermoso...pero olvido la lista de materiales y maquinaria usada junto a lugar donde comprarlas. Gracias .
Bonito..gracias..
Beautiful
Wonderful!
That's a 65 inch TV right, how much the height from the floor to the tv? any idea
Hi M, its a 75 inch massive!! And it all depends on the layout of the room, tv size, height of ceiling, you ultimately want the tv to sit little bit above the center of the wall with the wall unit built around it.. hope that helps..
Good job @greg please share measurements,I love this in South Africa.
Salute sir💥❤
Keren, sangat bermanfaat vidio nya mr😊mudah2 an saya punya alat2 yg mr punya🤲
very good job !
Nice work but if you could please show on how you mount it on the wall
What would the price be on a unit like that?
Lovely
Great. But why are the materials never listed in these videos??
Great work😍👍👍
kwai werk🔨
Great work ! Where did you get the Stripes?? The ones you glued on the mdf ?
Hi Greg I would love to see the plans to recreate this floating tv wall unit.
Hi Greg, it looks amazing. Would You be able to share the plans for entertainment center
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I would love to see the plans
Hi Greg. Have the plans for this amazing piece been posted anywhere online yet?
NICE !!! :)
How much did you spend for this project?
By the way you did an amazing job, thanks for sharing!
Thx for the support and kind words. From which country are you? Its difficult to discuss costs because everything prices are different in all the countries in the world.
@@diywithgreg Great work man I'm based in Gauteng and really interested in knowing the total cost of the build
How many btu/hr this compressor
Are the plans available for this? It’s exactly what we would like to do in our home?
Did you use a double french cleat for this, or just one at the top?
@@diywithgreg Thanks! I think you said you used Pine for the French cleat, which is a softwood. Did you just use that because you had it laying around? Wouldn't spruce, fir, or plywood have more support for the French cleat? I ask because you inspired me to build the same thing! I'm going to go to the store tomorrow to grab the wood but not sure exactly what to buy yet. Doing a double cleat looks a little tricky so I want to make sure I do it right. Thank again for this great video!
Awesome stuff Nick, the unit is heavy but its not that heavy that the soft wood damaged or bend, 2 people can pick the unit up easily.. If you run the pine from one side of the unit to the other side, with a double cleat system the weight is spread through out the whole unit and should be fine.. im on facebook aswell please share pictures when you are done! Good luck and thanks for the support.
Can you show how you hang the floating unit
let's go
Looks great, too bad you didn't show how or what you used to mount the tv and the cord management
Hi Alex, i know and did think about that. Just didn’t want to struggle with camera equipment in my clients house when we are supposed to install the unit.
@@diywithgreg completely understand, definitely would have extended the time spent at the client's home.
How much does this whole project cost?
Nice work...how much did you charge for this piece
Hey Greg, what material are those strips You're using?
@@diywithgreg is that MDF 1/2 inch or 3/4" thick? Doesn't look like a 4x8 sheet. Looks much bigger
I was wondering what router bit did you use on the 5mm strips?
@@diywithgreg
Thank you very much. I will let you know how it goes building this unit. I cant wait
How did you hang the tv? I was waiting to see that part.. awesome job tho!
Thanks for the support, I recently built almost built the same tv unit where I explained how i hanged the unit.
🤩🤩🤩
Do you have a cutting list for this that you can share?
Not yet, we are busy working on a website where we will have all drawings available
If anyone has any leads on where to find a floating wall mount/ tv board for an 82” tv, please lmk!
Hey Nice Work!!
Can u pls tell me the exact dimensions of the whole TV unit??
Hi, we are busy with plans for all our project we build. Will be posted on our site soon.
nice
Greg,
Please be more carefully when using your table saw. Is not secure use it with gloves
Awesome work!! Please the dimensions please.
I want to build one for my self
Unfortunately, the video missing some key steps. But thanks for sharing
1) How did you hang your shelve to the wall? With the L French cleat? If you what about the TV
2) What varnish and why?
3) Why MDF and use strip of veneer instead of rows of actual wood/planks?
4) Why fasten screw from the top to form your shelve instead of pockets?
Unfortunately i cant record all the details, otherwise the video will be 4hours long. Im trying my best to give as much information as i can. Plans will be available soon.
Really slow with the plans I see. Wondering if the Home Depot product is his lol
Baie nice!! Subcribed beslis. Watse hout het Jy gebruik vir die cladding..?
Do you have paper plans available for purchase?
Not as yet. We are busy building a website where the plans will be available shortly.. 💪🏻
الحمدلله
can you help me get some tool
Can we use wood pallet for this?
You can use any type of wood. However, it's going to be a lot of work in getting the necessary surface finish. Don't forget that some pallet wood have been treated with chemicals so it may not be ideal for interior use.
@@ivanfreely6366 thank you so much for responding. Highly appreciated!
It's super plz .. Pp
all you did was use them bolts straight in the back of the mdf? you are not worried about them pulling threw
Nowt better than the South African accent.
To me didnt look like a tutorial it was more like u showing what u make but good job tho
Can i be offered with employment at your company, am a skilled carpenter and joiner from Uganda
It looks unreal. But just some constructive criticism, you could definitely speed some sections up, and skip some in between bits out.
Nice video, however you missed showing a lot of steps for the viewer. If it is a how to video then show what tools you used, how did you make the drawer, how did you actually install the lights. That sort of thing so me a thumbs down.
Hi Danielle, thx for your message. Its not easy filming and building at the same time, If i have to film every detail in all my videos we will sit with 100 minutes videos on each project. The ultimate goal is build a project and have plans available for the public afterwards.
Stay safe 😇
@@diywithgreg Thanks, Greg. I will check out the plans you have available.
