In 20+ years of being an anime fan, I don’t think I’ve ever anticipated a season of anything this much. 4 years since Ohma and Raian and I’ve watched the series at least 10 times, both subbed and dubbed, just to experience the differences. Cannot. Wait. I definitely took PTO on Friday so I can binge the whole thing!
@@Teehtf11 sub is better because all the minor characters have much more personality. Dub isn’t terrible but for a first watch I highly recommend subtitled!

As a fan of the Baki the Grappler, I completely agree. At least there will be no static frames that are just shaking for dynamics, where they are not needed. We came to watch the fights, not a Powerpoint slideshow. In Baki, some frames are just colored pages from manga. What a shame, even the 2001 anime was animated better than what Netflix released on Baki now.
We got 3 fighting anime from Netflix in this season. Baki, Record of Ragnarok and Kengan Ashura. And they are all great in my opinion, especially Record of Ragnarok.

Record of ragnarok is ass when it comes to anime, kengan ashura is atleast fluid with these 3d like animation. Record of Ragnarok is plain slide show with mid fight scenes, like honestly just check the manga. Kengan ashura atleast trying their best to make anime and manga fights good but ROR is pure trash.
Already on Episode 7; finishing it tonight and there is no regrets. So far it has blown me out of the park and I can't wait to rewatch it again till part 2 comes out. On another note this has literally helped me on the grind of working out again and training like all these fighters do, it has been splendid. 💪
ive been so lazy nowadays, i wonder if itll help me get back on the grind too. its hard though when i recently got diagnosed with arthritis! hopefully gone soon tho

Eh it depends on what you're comparing it to but imo, it is one of the best utilization of 3D in anime. It's hard to explain but because of the 3D animation, everything feels solid and the characters actually feels like they're made from flesh and bone. Because of that, every hit feels super impactful and powerful and immersive. It's a great 3D anime and one of the best in my book.
It's not so perfect, but we've seen the worst CGI in other animes indeed. I don't know if it's just me but I see some improvement from the previous season.
I'm sure all fights will be amazing but... Kaolan vs Fang. Enough said. Can't wait, but have to! Just few more hours (shivering in the corner with withdrawal symptom)

I think they’re gonna cut both the Worm and Toyo Electric’s uprising. Seeing as they’re cutting a lot of manga-only things I’m pretty sure they won’t go into any Ken Omega setup, or anything that messes with the season’s pacing
They are splitting this final season into two parts one launching tomorrow and the other launching in 2024. The cut-off for this part will likely be right after the Toyo uprising.

In the show Murobushi was beaten after one hit by Watasuki. But in the Manga, Murobushi got up after the first hit and even kept fighting for a bit before he eventually lost.
