Pagans had to steal everything they worshipped with from the creation that God made. So even if there were consistent evidence that Christmas had been thoroughly pagan, of which I have seen very little, it still wouldn't matter. It's not theirs. They have to steal from God to worship false gods just like when a man cuts down a tree (created by the Lord), warms himself with half of it (a blessing from the Lord), and fashions an idol with the other half (an abomination to the Lord.)
