My hair started to thin out when I was about 18yo, very young for a girl. Because of that, doctors wouldn't usually close a diagnosis for me; they'd dismiss it as "stress, lack of vitamins etc" even if I would tell them I couldn't perceive any sheddings, my hair was just getting thinner with time. Most just don't listen, they made me waste more than a decade without proper treatment and I've lost a lot of ground, which makes me really sad and angry. It's quite common to hear "you gotta catch it early" but if they won't be able to diagnose it early, what's the point? Now I'm trying finasteride (1mg) and minoxidil 5% to see if I'm one of the lucky women who respond well to it. Even though most research is focused on men, your channel is of great help. Thanks

Hello sir can i use minoxidil alone to keep my scalp hair and not use finasteride, I am talking about long term. I don’t have hair loss but I am thinking of taking minoxidil for maintenance.
Minoxidil will not prevent genetics from taking its toll. Only a DHT blocker can do that
Dr. bhatti Sir I'm Suffering from Diffuse Unpatterend Alopecia and with thinning receding hairline And I'm using Finax 1 mg tablet per day and 5% Minioxdil with 1% finastride in it from 8 months no result has been found hair is still too thin with receding with DUPA is there any thing can you suggest?

Hello doc, I’ve been taking finesteride for a month now and im experiencing genital insensitivity as a side effect (total test before starting was 420) do you think i should push through few more weeks and then side effects would go away since you mentioned in one of your previous video that the sides go away in 2 months of experiencing them. Thankyou for sharing this video.
Take it for another 2 weeks and if it is the same you can go off the drug. Health is more important.

Take it for another month and if you still have problems you have the choice of going off it.
@@hairtransplantinindia if I still get side effects after another month can I lower the dose to see if they go away (my current dose is 1mg 3 times a week)
Sir i have been taking finastride for more than 1 & half month but my frontal hairloss has increased little bit and thinning is still there im currently norwood 1 going to norwood 2 also i have already been using minoxidil from past 3 months but still my hair seems to be very thin..i checked with my doctor he asked me to switch from finastride to dutastride 0.5 mg per day Along with minoxidil with finastride what shall I do in that case kindly guide me sir
You can either follow your doctor for some more time 6 months or book a consultation.

Hello doctor, Please help i am in 1 mg per day finasteride from 2 months, no sides but my hair getting worsening my shedding getting worse...before finasteride my scalp was not noticeble but now my scalp is noticble and i am worried will i go bald in just shedding....i am so cnfuse whether to continue or stop...dont wanna go bald age 28😢 and if i go 1 mg alternate days will my condtion get better?
You will soon get over the shedding phase and all will be well. Pleaes stay the course and you will be rewarded with hair soon.
How much hair strands fall everyday, I've been talking finasteride for 50 days not shedding much 0.5mg on mon wed fri sun no sides effects, is it a good sign for me or not ? You only take finix only or used minoxidil also ( almost the same age)
@@anmolsoreng4662 my hairs are every where in my room...and when hair washing it will be 80 100 hairs minimum....and when i combing or just going through with my hands it will 5 10 hairs every time

Norwood 2 is normal.
