Having been in the US Navy for 20 years, I'm offended by the lack of "bullseyes" to enable you to find your way around the ship. I think CIG should give me a job as their ship interior location markings advisor.
No idea what they are but raise it on spectrum and get others involved. I doubt they even considered that but I can see how an air craft carrier would be extremely efficient for navigation based on mission critically and speed of response to all scenarios.
i don't know why they didn't hire someone like that already. You'd think for an emergent game they would at least put a little research into military markings and terminology
@@adrianbarreto4225 Doesn't really make sense to apply logic that would be 800 some years old at that point. You have a minimap, use it.
@wowplayer160 we still use terminology in the military from like 800 years ago. First off, this game isn't really that far in the future. Second, space navy uses the same concept as sea, where ships makeup the military power. Using naval terminology for space combat would just make sense. Like when he called the lady sir in the video lmfao
it's FREAKING ME OUT that one of these guys voice sounds exactly like mine. The guy trying to tell you not to push the arrow out sounds exactly like my voice and its a real mindfuck

@@phoenixsui they need the servers to increase in max pop by at least 10 times for an epic level space fight like that to happen. I know a few people who ended up buying shit like the javelin too. Absolute insanity

Not impossible, just would take more effort (like landing a pieces with whole boarding team).

Easy way to find the route to the bridge:
1.) When on board the Idris open the Map (key "F2").
2.) Move mouse to bridge.
3.) Press key "R" to activate navigation to current mouse position.
Now the path to the bridge is also shown on your minimap.
All things considered, your bike *was* the most dangerous target. None of those other ships were in the process of boarding it
This was so gripping, I have to show my friends. The ones that don't have a space game or imaginary controlled substance addiction that is.
The takeaway from this is play with my tractor beam more often, and learn how to execute takedowns when my gun doesn't reload for the 10th time, while getting raided by people that follow a streamer named after a space vegetable. Thanks, Voidy!
Alt-1 restacks ammo and sometimes for some random ass star citizen logic fixes that reload bug...sometimes 80% of the time.
I have a CCU chain that I brought up to a Carrack as everything past it is concept. I realized I could name the ship. The first thing I thought of was "Every good ship deserves a name". My Carrack is now called Voidy Vids.
Anytime you find yourself in a scenario where the AI is really close, middle mouse click and you’ll take them out of the fight. That way if you fight that multiple reload system you’ll not have to worry about them.
Whenever you try to reload with the mags inside the backpack, use ALT + 1. It solves this glitch.

It's so cool how the enemies stand there with their back turned against you, they're not ever afraid or bothered or anything. This game is crazy dude, no other game does this and they even added the malfunction mechanic
Just finished flying an idris M after 6 hours its amazing, wanted to stay on all night to keep.

I've captured Idris two times with my org. Was gunner on the S7 turrets. We have fought other Idrises 5 times. Genuinely best experience I had in SC since I started playing in 3.15.

i just did it one hour ago. this ship isslow as f***k. 14 minutes from area18 to jericho. Living atmosphere is a pain in the as* too. But using idris at XT was so fun.

400k credits to repair sounds on point IMO for a ship that size. It should cost tremendous amounts of fake space money to keep alive coz you can do more stuff on a larger scale.

All while the owners dont get theirs ;D. I cant wait. I am waiting to create a org until some meaningful ships and content is coming to the game for the effort that needs. Maybe basebuilding or meaningful economy or similar things. Everything currently i just do with randoms. Works perfectly well too. But i think this ship will shine the most in SQ42 with a AI crew making it very immersiv.

We spent a few days stealing these off every event we could. It's so weird, it's at the same time some of the most exciting and also absolutely bored I've ever felt playing this game x) Not sure how flying the Idris around ended up being both at the same time.
How are you even able to play XT? I tried playing logging in from Somerset West, South Africa to the EU server, and it was just a mess of desyncing ships all over, and after QTing there my ship was in a state of freeze for at least 2 minutes before it woke up. At least I was able to gift another player one of my rail guns. I have too many in my inventory.

Xenothreat mission requires you to board the ship and kill the pilot. After killing the crew, the ship wont despawn. Since the ship doesnt despawn, you can take control of it

But its like, for 95% of us, "yay another video that only uses 30% of my monitor...."
My org tried this too, But the server was too janky. The FPS were bad and the graphics felt like Wing Commander 1. After 6 hours we decided to call it off.

Xt is not JUST a PvE event. It is a pvp event, too. Read the description on the website closely.

TBH, nice vid but this Xeno Threat BS has completely borked almost all the servers over the latter part of this week. Cant wait for it to be over so other types of gameplay will actually function.
