For me it's: Freijah -> K.Brown J.Macrae -> Salem English -> Gawn (alas not starting Gawn single-handedly destroyed my 2024 season) Caldwell is also in consideration instead of Salem but the latter is probably the better buy this week although Salem's durability is always a cause for concern. It also gives me another look at Caldwell, Simpkin and maybe even Peatling if he can hold his spot post Swans, before I fully commit to that F6 slot.
Rejigged my trades after realising Merrett is back this week. Have gone B. Dale - D. Houston (like for like), Bont to Flanders, and D. Wilson to Merrett. Plan for next week is to drop Closhey for Shoenmaker and then get Bont back in the side after upgrading either Green, Oliver or Sharp.
Thoughts on TDK as a Ruck option ? If I pay up for Max I will be forced to still play a rookie on field next week. This will leave Sexton D6 / Day / Green, M7and M8. and Powell F6 ( upgrade next week ) TDK would go to Max in a few weeks when I can afford it. PS. I have Merrett / Gulden /Serong / Bont / Anderson so pretty happy with my Midfield for now.

Should be able to upgrade Reid to whichever premo I want after this round, so I’ll have a full team next week. I know it’s a bit of sideways trading, but I feel most comfortable about this than the other options I went though.

Then next week I can go a rookie down and a rookie up to someone max 740k like salem. I will only have 4 forwards and 15 defender or mids though. SO next week I must get a FORWARD but can't afford Caldwell. Is there any other forwards worth getting next week like SIMPKIN or should I not get in merrett this week instead Caldwell and get in someone like rozee or salem next week?

I like the trades mate (just get Evans and Brown instead of Hall and Laurie). I’d downgrade Freijah as he would give you the most cash, plus Freijah could be dropped with both Johannisen and Coffield back shortly after their bye 👍

Depends on how many rookies on field next week. If you have the none then option 1. If you still need to fix a couple up then option 2 seems best.
