No PHER, the oldtimers who ran equipment were "Cat skinners". This is a mine reclamation project...restoring the terrain to somewhat what it looked like before the mining activity took place. Their relaying topsoil for reseeding!
WoW it can push dirt must be nice to play in top soil put it i a Sandrock pile and you will wish that You never learned to run one push in 1st back up in 2nd
dozers look boring, escovators are so much more fun, i operate loaders backhoes and forklifts at work, and the odd time the escovators, no papers nothing....im kinda like you could say....but i would much rather drive the esco.....its fun....
Obviously reclaiming (reclamation not landscaping) a pit and waste dumps....mostly contour and slope work. Sometimes your FORCED to take the big iron to a job even if it is overkill because the cat that was on the job went down hard and time constraints become an issue, ie like getting the seed down before the first snow! Yeah, 11"s are the hoggers but dont always workout that way. "Skinner" nice, a true cat hand. Some of you others are really letting your exp show! you should be quiet.
This is my kind of video! nothing can stop that D11! nice video.

@busajohnny i thought me and my brothers were the only ones who did that. nice to now that someone knows what they are doing.
@hicktownpa1233 its a requirement on sites, the revolving light catches the eye alot better.. and during the night it sure does stick out..
get one of these bad boys to plow my damn driveway in the winter
Yes, the machine was back working after a bit of work done to it in Finnings.
CAT POWER!! FOREVER
@busajohnny he could, but it is a short push, and it does not look like a very deep cut left. He could have just been pushing for the video.
As seen in this video, I dont see a shovel to push too, or any mining activity in the background...the pit looks shutdown?
The D575 can bite me. *grins* XD
my dad runs a d10
and he just got me a job running a d9
there actually pretty easy to use
just like 9callaway9 said
got to hit grade and be level
very nice video of the D11 pushing , is there a wind noise reduction on the camera ? only thing wrong with video but loved it anyway
No sound reducing, I don't think they had it eleven years ago on cheap cameras.
The Machine is still there but getting rusty due to lack of use. Should the quarry not restart activities it could well be sold.
That is my dream job.
how would i get a job like this with no exp

monster dozer
hateful commets are every where just ignore these guys cause all they need is attention
First off its not Escovators... Its Excavators!!! You obviously have no idea how big a D11 is...
pushing down hill is more productive, start at the top and go down
O makinanın hakkını veremiyor ve boş mazot harcıyor yazık
@35nine Mine too!
