I swr I’m going to write a not so formal complaint to yt to sort out their broken algorithm. People like George Bateman get like 80k in a day when it’s totally undeserved, this my friend is a masterpiece.
Ikr people just post simple sigma clips with no editing whatsoever just copy-paste and get 80k while this man drops masterpiece and only gets 5k . Unfair.
I think this movie has the most accurate social commentary of any I've seen. It really reflects so many of the problems plaguing our society at the moment while being an awesome film in so many other ways simultaneously. Really a piece of art.
I always thought the same thing. I live a very isolated lonely life just like the main character. You truly feel alone in todays world and funny enough I was using AI gf to chat with lol😅
@@estatheczthere's a long video essay by LadyKnightTheBrave, hours into a lot of depth. SPOILERS Alot of societal issues like the sexualization and objectification of women, fetishization of foreign cultures, oppression of those different to the status quo and loneliness were discussed. Personally, my favourite part of the movie is the hope it gives. K believed he was the Messiah due to the implanted memories and real-life coincidences that were the same as his dreams. His hope was crushed by the replicant resistance/uprising when he was told that he wasn't their Messiah, but a regular old Blade Runner. Nothing special. But instead of settling and being mediocre, he simply chose to be extraordinary. He saved Deckard, going against the wishes of others because it was the right thing to do. He united Deckard with his daughter, whom he thought he would never be seeing again after she was born. K went through hell, and almost died in the process. But he did it. As insignificant as he was, with so much red in his ledger, he did something good not for salvation, but simply for the sake of it. It's inspirational. 'Any average Joe can change the world' is profoundly naive, but hope is always a good thing to have.
@@estathecz sure man. A couple of the big ones: the way it reflects loneliness so many men feel today. K’s holographic girlfriend is basically a stand-in for Onlyfans and other NSFW content people resort to in lieu of being able to find true relationships. Another is how it’s basically foreshadowing what the earth will end up looking like because of things like deforestation and increasingly massive concrete jungles, AKA cities. In Bladerunner, a small piece of wood is seen as rare and precious because of how the environment has been eradicated to the point that anything natural is mystical. The girl in this vid is perplexed after seeing a tree: “ive never seen a tree before… its pretty” k: it's dead...
I have never felt so personally connected to a piece of cinema like blade runner 2049 in my life. Everything about this movie is just....wow (also good edit)
I want to watch it, but I haven't seen other Blade Runner movies before. Is 2049, it's own movie or a continuation, as I am not sure if the other ones are worth the watch
From 0:18-0:19 i personally think goes crazy. the hand sign and just before that the slightly raised collar on the coat is so mysterious. its got me like, i wonder who this character is and why is he so covered up is it because of the weather? or maybe its part of a greater picture, shows him being different or even separated from the rest of the world feeling like he cant fit in. the coat is clearly a metaphor for people feeling like they how to shut themselves off from the outside world and keep their true self inside of them and not show it to the outside world, it's quite a sad way to see things but life if a sad thing because people have to live in fear that people will not like the real them, so they decide to put on a mask when around people who may find them 'weird' or 'quirky'. These tags are not something you usually want to be associated with because of their negative connotations e.g. having no friends, being a bit of an outcast or being interested in weird things, its such a broad term that's usually just put into that one finite word, 'weird'. the fog around him during this sequence can also be seen as many different things, i like to see it as people, as if he is walking down the street past loads of people not really being seen or observed and being surrounded constantly, this can be taken one of two ways, either he is feeling strangled by life and felt like he has to always be on guard and never open himself up, or it shows that even in busy areas he keeps his composure and does not fear people judging or looking at him. the next scene shows a hand sign that can usually be connotated with 'go again' hence the spin, but it can also be seen as 'turn around' here there isn't much context for where is being used, but i think that it could be referring to the never ending cycle of life, birth life and death or he is stating that everyday is just a repeat of the last, i prefer this take on it because sometimes life can just feel like you are doing everyday on repeat, especially if you are having feelings like i have previously stated 'wearing a mask' and 'being a bit of an outcast' life can feel like it's just doing the same meaningless tasks everyday without any reward and at that point what is the reason for doing anything. just after that you see him walk through a busy corridor assumed to be straight after the last part, there seems to be a lot of different classes of people, this can be compared to the streets of alot of different cities, this looks to be set in the future so maybe the outside world is less habital so everyone stays inside, there is security which could be the police and then also there looks like homeless people. but he is just walking through not showing any interest in anyone, this could come down to his shy and nonchalant nature, over years of people looking at him different there might have been shift in his personality where instead of displaying his passions and quirkiness he choices to hide it, hence the high raised collar on the coat. thanks for reading my summary of 0:18-0:19 of Interlinked memory reboot.
One of the best thing about this video is that he edited so well and didn't even put his watermark inside the video like many editors do which I think ruins the video. Names look good in ending
Immaculate work, starting from the choice of the opening fragment with highclass perfomance of the actors with their subtle eye movements and ending with an organic mashup of the musical composition and the audio from one of the most memorable scenes of the film and the franchise
Really like this edit. So many edits of this movie, many with this song more recently, but this one is better than many I have seen. Well done, Logger!

You should've seen the original. It was phenomenal too. The DIRECTORS cut I mean not the original original drowned in stupid voice-overs
