Love your video, Marina.
Thanks 😊😊
Hey marina
"Anytime" and "don't worry about it" are very common informal alternatives to "You're welcome" in the U.S. Also, "No problem!" or "No worries" but the latter is very informal. 😊
the latter?
@@Anime-yz4fk the latter means the last one (which refers to “no worries” here)

Do you want to accept Islam as your religion?
I don't agree with you and "my pleasure"!!! I've reprogrammed myself to not say that at all!!! It's nothing wrong with "you are welcome " even better "you are very welcome " A gift thing: it's nothing wrong with gifting!!! I just surrounded my self with normal Americans who love gifting and are not superficial like you explained.
When i wasn’t learning English i thought this language would be hard and boring but when i saw people know how to speak English i feel upset why i can’t be like them from that moment i have started learning and i’ve been 7 month studying . I’ll keep going i wish u guys that u can speak English well ❤️ good luck
Good luck😎👌

you are like "them". You wrote this right?? sounds pretty good, be proud. You will definitely get there o/

As a native speaker, sometimes when I text my friends and they did a small favor I will say, “no prob!” Which is short for “no problem” although it is even more informal. Sometimes if the favor is very minor and you’re not super close with the person you can shorten it to “np” and which also means “no problem!”
Thanks for your comment 😊 actually I got this phrase "no prob" from my boss and I didn't understand it.

Hi from Jakarta, Indonesia 🇮🇩!!! Perfect!!!! When you told us about the "gift" and the US culture, you answer my question on my mind. Because I have so many Colleagues from US. Every time I gave them a present, they just thrilled. However, in eastern culture it's very common. Again, thank you very much. ❤️
God bless you, Gurl 🤗.

Indeed!
I actually hate the phrase, I find people use it at work for doing very small things.
You are welcome is absolutely fine to say. I hear it every day from natives
??
Thank you so much and I'm gratified to let you know a rather belated Happy New Year to the extreme!! Wish everything you do and everyone around you come as a success that brings you all the happiness the years on!!
"Any time" can be used in work situations too. It is friendly but not too informal for work. "No need at all" is actually much more formal and does NOT sound like something that would be used in a casual conversation

As a native speaker I haven’t heard/haven’t used half of these. Instead of you’re welcome, (even in a professional setting) I say anytime! Of course! Don’t mention it. My pleasure. But honestly if I heard any of the other ones you mentioned, I wouldn’t think native speaker.. I would think, what movie did they recently watch haha! Not in a bad way, but not the phrases I, as a native speaker would gravitate to. And not trying to be negative, I think your channel is great and your teaching methods are awesome. Just offering my perspective :)
I like that the video isn't giving info about the language side only but also add some culture info about the US. which is great especially for people live/want to live there.
I love to hear you it helps me to speak more in English
Thank you so much Marina

“You’re welcome” always works.
“No problem” is a terrible replacement for “you’re welcome”. When someone says “no problem” to me, I’m thinking “what?! There was a problem?”
No it’s more meaning that it was nothing for them .

Yeah, Marina! We want this kind of content more
I would say most of these are boiler plate response used in PR statements. Well often come across as non caring response. A "Your Welcome" with the proper emphasis on the way you say it ( a kind and deeply caring tone) can have more impact or even a "Your Very Much Welcome" Followed up by "Please if there's any thing else you need don't hesitate to ask" I think this video covers more dealing with a boss or employee.
