Natural labor for some of us in the Caribbean is the only option. Epidural is given at private hospitals which is crazy expensive. Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐

ugh my second was 25 hours and it was extremely painful from the start! I thought it was false labor this time because it didn't start to hurt until I got to the hospital so it wasn't that bad! Thank you so much! im obsessed with him 🥹💗

Awwhh! I love watching your vlogs! Congrats and baby Lincoln is so cute ! I’m 35 w 3 on my first birth and was just told she’s 7 lbs 7 oz and am terrified of what she’s going to be at 37-40 weeks so I understand the fear. I was going to go do my best natural but I think I’m definitely going to need an epidural 😣 I also just got a bad flu AND sprained my ankle last week so woohoo.

I was predicted to have 9+ pounders all four pregnancies. They were 8 lbs 11 oz, 6 lbs 12 oz, 7 lbs 10 oz, and 8lbs 12 oz (4th was unmedicated as well).
Pregnant with our 5th now 😁

Hahahha some times it be like that🤣🤣 my dad caught me and my siblings so it gave Kevin the idea! You never know though your husband might surprise you with what he can handle!! It’s a new experience for everyone haha

Thank you so much for your sweet comment!💗 but Oh my gosh.. tell me your secrets!! How do you do it naturally!! I always get to a point where I want to crawl of my skin from how painful/uncomfortable it is. Being sick was so hard it hurt every time I coughed so that definitely didn’t help😅

I never liked the fact that getting a needle put in my back could cause me trouble or even be paralyzed from it. That scared me enough. Plus I just kept telling myself that the pain was only temporary, and my beautiful baby would be in my arms soon.but I also am pretty good with pain. But thank you. Hope to see more of your beautiful little Baby.
@@darlenebatts5115 i definitely agree pain tolerance plays a big role. I have 0 pain tolerance. It hurts when I brush my hair lol. I always have a lot of anxiety when I’m in pain and sometimes start to panic and it’s hard to regain that control when you’re in labor. Thank you for sharing your experience! You’re incredible 🫶🏻

I’m so shocked that you have to wear a mask while in labour!! What a legend you are, you make it look so easy! Do you find that your labours got easier or harder each time, or about the same? They told me I didnt have to! there were some moments when I didnt but I did because I had a horrible cough and didnt want to get anyone sick and I was also FREEZING and it kept my face warm lolllllll

My midwife, who only does home births, told me that it's not unusual for women to do one home birth, and then do subsequent labors at hospital with an epidural. She doesn't take it personally. It's like, "Ok, I had my moment, I did it once and I am never doing it like that again" lol so even natural mamas will decide against it! Totally normal. I've done both!
Since our #3 is an adopted embryo, we are hoping my husband can catch this baby. But of course, anything can happen. Here's hoping :)

I had my 5 babies naturally/unmedicated.I thought that you are going to make it with out epidural. You still did great with that contraction and cough.
if I wasn't as sick as I was I think it would've been easier. Everytime I coughed it hurt so badly

Your husband's "you've done this three times, this is easy" made me LOL. My hubby says that to me all the time (we are on number 5) and it makes me so mad!! I tell him its not easy no matter how many times, its hard , it sucks! it hurts! If you break your leg for the 4th time its not going to hurt any less just cuz you've felt the pain before. Can I do it? yes, but its not easy (I go all natural for several reasons) : (
it was actually just what I needed to hear! My husband knows me really well and after he said it I kept telling myself that I got this! He's right though, i've done it before and I can do it again. Pain usually psychs me out and I associate it with something being wrong lol
