You didnt mention it but osmumten's fang is the next best downgrade after soulreaper for clearing waves, just bring a tentacle switch or something for the boss though I did the colosseum in blood moon gear with a fang, and so can you!
I sold Tbow for a scythe to start the Colo grind. Honestly I think Inferno is designed way better. Colo feels super jank, click boxes are awful, All of the invos are horrible. NGL I would have liked to try Doom Scorpion once I get a KC under my belt though. Anyway, I thought I understood off ticking, pathing and line of sight until I came to this place.

Both of these invocations were changed during a patch so now the soul reaper axe does not interact with either invocation and it's perfectly viable. From the wiki: "Self-damaging items will no longer apply doom" "Self-damaging items will no longer drain prayer points if Blasphemy is active"
@@SKELEWIZ You don't really need more accuracy or damage since you will still 2 shot the melee fremmy so I would just go for a tank shield like the dfs.
I have to tell you brother, your start tile is 6 tiles out from pillar and every other guide i've watched is 5 tiles out. I used your tile when i starting learning and constantly got fucked over on the start of waves despite clicking on the right clicks, someone pointed out that my tile is too far out, i switched it to the 5th tile and my completions went up by like 50%. Your guide is good, but you legit costed me like 20m in deaths and countless hours

From my understanding, the quiver is bis for range, so itd make sense if the activity to get it would require high stats for your average player. Obviously theres gonna be some super sweat out there that can do this with way lower stats, but for people like me who are bad at the game, i wont be trying this until i have those higher stats and gear

Good guide, but I don't like the whole " doesn't require max gear" when you still take in a scythe with bandos. That's just barely not bis, considering you're still bringing a venator, SGS, claws etc. If you want to recommend bringing the soul reaper axe for the waves, I'd like to see a run with it and see if you still think the same after. Other than that, the editing and format for the video is very well done.
I tried bringing only a Kodai + Spectral in Full Torva and I 100% splash on the fremmennk that way. -28 magic attack in my setup. So idk about this, cant really follow the no mage gear recommendation.
@@GaryDuels I looked up on this and apparrently Ice Barrage or Ice Burst have a high miss chance lol. The Wiki mentions that in one sentence on the colosseum page. Well I guess I will try again with Blood Spells or just with a Sang Staff :D
You didn't really show any examples of how to deal with the start of the waves. You only showed some very basic stack solves, could've showed some examples of a full wave.
Hey man, I often take doom 1 but it’s not the best for learning since you will be getting hit a fair bit so I gave it a low ranking. I had a similar thought with relentless since when learning you will need to run between pillars more often.
So you gonna pay me for the 35 deaths I’ve gotten since swapping to melee only or nah? Every single person I talk to tells me melee only is for people that already know how to beat it. I’m not actually blaming you but I definitely could see the tbow route being way easier for wave solving
Hey mate, if you don’t have access to a blood fury you can unequip your armour and blood barrage a mob at the end of each wave. I guess you just need to ask yourself if it’s more effort to blood barrage back up, or to just go and farm a blood shard.
@@grnwlk yea the amulet just makes the whole experience very forgiving which is great for learning but it’s not necessary if you don’t make allot of mistakes. I don’t like blood barraging back to full health because I view it as a waste of time. The blood fury allows you to heal up without wasting time which means you get more attempts in a shorter period of time and you learn faster.

small tip about the dfs charging, there is an item called bottled dragonfire or something that instantly charges the shield for like 15k GP

After sand, sol will always do spear, weather it be 1 or 2 depends on his last attack before sand.

doom 1 is free, even doom 2 is viable even as a learner. relentless is free, dont take to 3.

it's not necessary (esp with ancients and sgs) but it is one of the main benefits of melee only. just send it without if you don't have one
