Bought one of these . Same start up screen as well . They do work it is budget night vision. Get the rechargeable mAh 1300 batteries and charging unit .pretty reasonable price.
@@JohnHoranzythat makes sense, if it uses IR (even internally) to enhance an image, the IR must be projected outwards & that would light up an area like a laser pointer to anyone with a IR detector
I just got one. The main reason was because i heard you can see lots more mysterious things zipping around up in the night sky of ours. First night i turned it on i was seeing all kinds of things up in the sky that was def. Not dust lens refraction or spacex. When i saw something that was strange which was the whole time i was looking throug them i would look with my own eyes and none of these flying things i can see. Its only in infa red. Anyone else getting this.

Does the IR light give away your position or is it internal and just allows for clear viewing 🤔 thx
All internal, no indicator outside of the binoculars.
It will give away your position to another person with detection ability. The area you are looking at is illuminated by the IR illuminator.
