The goblin curse should only affect troops that are already on the field. You cant have a 2 elixir card that fully counters a 5 elixir GY for an immediate 3 elixir advantage plus a counter push for even more elixir gain.

Love how instead of getting more counters to tanks in the game, they just rather kill graveyard completely
Goblin curse gives a 50% damage boost so troops can kill tanks faster with it. This spell is a buff to the rocket/princess meta

I think Goblin curse needs a small tweak.
Instead of dealing damage in the area, just make so that it deals 0 damage, but whatever dies in there gets turned into goblins.
I mean, it's only 2 elixir after all, it shouldn't be that broken.
Nah just remove the 50% extra damage in the area and it will be balanced

Edit: Plus, you saw the video. A 2 elixir card, capable of defending whole pushes, since not only it kills small troops like bats, but also makes them a meatshield.
It's simply too broken.
@@CorpusGreed plus it counter swarms, it counters tank, paired with spell like arrow it can kill any range tropps like wizard at least void was counterable this is just dumb
If it wotked on anything you could just go graveyard and put that on top then youd get infinite goblins with almost no counter

It is a good spell but it isnt that broken since goblins can be countered very easily like any splash damage card, log, arrows, poison so the counterpush it creates is not that broken. It does counter most GY decks so there will probably be a significant decrease in the usage of GY decks which does make me feel good
It also makes all cards in the radius take 50% more damage so it’s an insanely strong defensive tool. It’s not just for countering swarms.
This is gonna be good with mortar miner and insted of poison we use the goblen thing and destroy towers easily

When you have guards and you use goblin curse it will kill the giant faster or even fireball arrows

When are these changes coming because I'm tired of dagger dutchess and my little prince is lvl 13 so i was contemplating upgrading Archer queen to level 14 I'm short of 1 card but I'm 9 cards for LP
You can see the very first mega knight Carl plays get his health chunked by the wizard shot, the damage amp is way too much

No one will use bait cards because of this new card so I think cannoneer will be meta. Hard to tell though.
@@sawyerslack9782 I think dagger duchess would be meta tho because it’s way better at killing swarms and it is actually really good at killing tanks after the nerf because the hitspeed is faster. Cannoneer is bad against goblins
@@JimmyKim-fb1ji the spell will be the best card in the game it'll drastically change the meta. it is so only good against low HP troops. So more people will be using tanky cards. Tanky cards are cannoneer's specialty.
I do think the duchess will still be great after the update so it's still worth upgrading.

for gyard are u able to uno reverse? like they turn your skeleton into gob then u curse to turn their gob into your gob
Yes it looks like the spell can work against each other. Ian77 and ryley were doing that. Gyard decks will start carrying the same spell. Itll literally just upgrade their skeletons to gobs for more damage

I see that you have never entered the top 10 k in the world as soon as you write such a stupid comment that the little prince should die from a fireball, you also have a void of 3 elixirs that solves it and you also have this new sick spell, the new spell should cost 3 elixir a void 4 , that's the only mistake.

Yea goblin curse needs a nerf immediately and my balance change for it is to rework the spell to apply a curse effect on troops until they die however it can no longer damage units and will cost less elixir and acts like a stronger counter push if your opponent over commits and you managed to survive their spam and they have to deal with a huge goblin army that is counter pushing added on top of your normal counter push
It makes it to where it is not like a poison and it would put some demand into poison as goblin curse is mechanically similar to poison and since it is broken poison is either going to live with an awful usage rate or be unseen in top ladder
Why would they also decrease the reload speed of dutchess? It's already very slow. The damage decrease was a good approach but also decreasing the reload speed even more will likely kill the card.

Dude honestly I feel like it’s not gonna be that good, too ladder meta will change to tanky decks and it won’t get much value in matchups
everything in its radius takes 50% more dmg. Just that makes it better than rage for dealing as much dmg as possible to troops and buildings. Plus it has a much bigger radius and turns killed troops into doblins
