Just for you OhMyBoard has tested and compared Long Island surfskates and Yow surfskates. So that you can get an idea of the capabilities of the two surfskates! Our goal is for you to understand the main differences between these two surfskate brands. Because our job is to TEST - SELECT - PUSH the limits of each surfskate. And that we have only one priority: to give PRO OPINION & ADVICE! In this video, we give you a complete comparison between the characteristics of the long island skates, its genesis truck and the Yow surfskates with its Meraki truck.
In this brand new video our rider, Thibaut, compares for you all the characteristics of the Long Island Surfskate and the Yow Surfskate. The main difference between the two brands remains the front surfskate truck. Indeed, the Yow truck technology is designed with a spring while that of Long Island is composed of two bushings. This makes the Yow more unstable with great maneuverability, so the Long Island will give you more stability and energy return. Note also that the Yows are fitted with URA 66x51mm 78A wheels, while the Long Islands are fitted with CINETIC 66x51mm 78A wheels. In our opinion, the CINETIC are of better quality, since they have better grip on the ground and durability over time. Whereas with the URAs you will have an easier time launching maneuvers on the flat because they have less grip on the ground. These are the two main differences between these two brands.
We guarantee it, the quality of the two brands is close to each other! Since the whole production chain follows that of YOW Surfskate. Almost all spare parts are designed and assembled in factories in Spain. In our opinion, Yow wants to do like the Market Leader brand with two different things: one with spring which is more unstable and manageable, then another with stability and greater energy return. But also to offer a high-end brand which would be Yow Surfskate and a mid-range brand which would be Long Island Surfskate.

Oui la longisland Mossel 33’’ fonctionne très bien en bowl elle a un shape assez orienté pour ca !
Après au niveau du truck c’est plus souple que un CX Carver donc cela sera un peu plus radicale donc attention dans les courbes !

Alors le plateau, c’est « 101 Planche skate NATAS PANTHER HT 9.25 Holographic 101 »; les roues « Abec11 Gumballs 76mm 78A ( qui ont au moins 10ans et tj parfaites ) » et roulements « loaded Jehu V2 » 😇. Voici. Je ne sais ps si on peut publier des photos.
