About the album:
Released at a time when disco and punk were polarizing, dominating forces, Let There Be Rock sounded like the work of rock 'n' roll primitives locked away in their own world. Riffs were fast and laced with fuzz on "Bad Boy Boogie" and the salacious "Whole Lotta Rosie."

Who would have ever thought that the Aussie Melbourne pub band would tear a stadium full of Argies apart 40 years after they started . There's enough energy in that joint to run a small nation
You damn right!
No,ac/dc made the crowd.
ACDC deserves this crowd.
This crowd deserves ACDC
Tim Hkm well said absolutely they do
Crowds everywhere need to take notes from Argentinians! This crowd is insane! What's best is that they have no cellphones out
ok wait, some cellphones
Awesome comment
Sick call!!! Wow
Never to be duplicated again. This concert was one of the finest moments in hard rock live history.
They made history!!! I was at São Paulo’s and it was unbelievable! I cry every f* time I watch it!!
Greatest live band greatest concert in history
Yep. The South Americans really know how to rock hard. Its great, I just wish I'd been there...
Wish I knew why I love Phil Rudd tho. Somehow he seems to have that perfect blues style but....anyone technical out there? It's as if he drives it but keeps that languid, chill feel. Usually rock drummers are just balls-to-the-wall but there's something unique about his style. I suppose there is for all drummers but he and John Bonham are the only ones I can "feel" it and Malcolm Young's rhythm has the same easy feel. Under-rated musicians all.
I'm praying / begging that we get half that atmosphere when I see them @ Wembley on Sun 7th July this year. It would make my decade. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@royalmint7831 One of the greatest.*
Best live version of Rosie Ive seen. Everything just worked to perfection on this, including the great crowd. Just an epic performance.
Check out the Bon Scott versions, they blow this out of the water!
Possibly the best live AC/DC gig, crowd, and performance by the absolute Legendary band that I’ve ever seen.

The chic at 3:55 is just fantastic 😂. That's the energy you should have seeing your favourite band.
That's the energy a girl should have when her man comes home from work. lol.
You can't describe this concert and specially this crazy crowd. Not words, not videos. You have to feel it.
Look at that crowd. The crowd that every fucking so call singers nowadays dream of.
That's not a crowd, that's a population 😄

That moment when 60+ years old people rock harder than anyone on this planet!

+Johnny deep never to old to rock right
+see jay then listen to the original Bon Scott he kills this.
+Johnny deep Lol but oh so true!!
+Helen Smith Nah, this lad does it better.
Some people suggest that Donninton concert was better because of audience number and the age of the members of the band but I am really convinced that nothing compares with the energy of this crowd in River Plate 2009 which made each member of the band get 20 years younger when they actually were in their 50s or 60s at that moment. See their fuck...energy and how they interact with the crowd. Spectacular! 👏👏👏
Once the time machine will be invented i will go 2 THIS concert….guaranteed🎸💪😎.Cheers from CH.

I hear this and want to get on a bike and say bollocks !
I saw them in 2009/10 in Sydney - Black Ice - that was memorable, but here seeing this! These guys aren't even South American! Wow!

This is the right tempo and groove for this song. God bless Phil Rudd!
This is the best concert ever. Best of all concerts ever. That energy in the crowd, pure joy, and the best band ever to play a rhythmic rock and roll. Nobody can play together on this level.
Look up Rush live in Rio
This was the best concert I've ever been to. 19 years old and seeing AC/DC live, man, I watch this and get the shivers. People jumping all around you, feeling the same way you do, went there with 3 other friends and as soon as it started, the human tide separated us and I ended up a few feet away from Angus during his solo. When I heard that first thunder in Thunderstruck and saw the lightnin' on the screens, I knew it was coming. We all knew. I don't think I ever punched the air so hard in my life. Sang every song, came out of the concert disphonic, my back and my shoulders hurt as if I've been carrying a huge load for those last 7 hours, my fingers hurt for doing the devil horns all the time. I see this, and I feel the adrenaline rush again. We all knew we were attending something legendary, but man, oh man, seeing it from the outside makes it even bigger.
LUCKY LUCKY LUCKY YOU!!!!!
😭 good for you man
You lucky bastard
I would’ve killed to be there!, props to you!
That feeling must have been amazing. I can only wish.

Argentina has the best classic hard rock fans in the world. Refreshing to see people going crazy and rocking out rather than holding their cell phones.
This was December 2009. Latin America you have idiots using their phones at shows nowadays.
in the early August i saw the Devil in vision "showing of" in front of me and he was like "singing" (=screaming as a madman) KILL THEM, MURDER THEM MURDER THEM! KILL THEM! the only thing i know that i thougt was "ok, now i KNOW that hardrock is created in hell".
and other times, the whole place seemed to have transformed to instruments for death metal hard core. BOOM! BOOM! BANG! BOOM!
i heard this several days and it was exactly as if he was standing "in the other side" i mean ever noise around me would just sound as if he stood there behind a door knocking, knocking, knocking.
and then in the late August. Eminem released a song called Venom where he sings like
KNOCK KNOCK! LET THE DEVIL IN!
@@dchenkin02 no, see megadeth or metallica in 2016, 2017 playing in Argentina, is the same, almost nobody use their phones
@@joaquinperales4123 I'd love to have that in Germany. I'm right there minding my intense business in a moshpit whilest people around the pit get pissed of bcuz they "can't film properly".

From personal experience I can tell you that AC/DC sounds just as amazing in concert as they do on CDs and music videos. Their performances are like electric sparks going through everyone in attendance. No possible way to be still and passive at an AC/DC concert. It is absolutely electrifying to be present at one of their concerts. Afterwards, you leave the arena feeling like you've been through an ordeal of the highest, most satisfying encounter of your life!! You look around at everyone's face and they all have the same look - what did I just experience and how soon can I do it again?
Saw them during what many would consider their prime (Back in Black and For Those About to Rock tours) and yeah it was amazing.

Holy fuck that would be amazing!
Phil is just killing it, I can't stop tapping my foot and bobbing my head.
Yep, shots of Phil really tied it all together for me because the rhythm section is so insanely good in this show. Yeh, I know, never use the word "Underrated" to describe people but I actually feel that way about Phil. There are always great players that go unnoticed by the jerks at Rolling Stone and Guitar Mag.
I just said similar above.
I just love his style. He drives it but he's got that easy blues feel at the same time, and both Cliff and Angus complement perfectly. Rock drumming has kinda lost that - I'm good with balls-to-the-wall drumming but there's the same kind of distinction with Rudd as there was with Ginger Baker and John Bonham. Just fablus!
@@randomhumanoidblob4506as loathesome as Ginger Baker could be (burned out liver will make you an anger machine with no common sense) he was one hell of a drummer. I think his name doesn't come up much because nobody liked him, but if you rate him on merit alone, he was one of the greats, a very educated man who knew lots of styles and had a lot of mastery.
@@zeppelinmexicano That's really interesting - fab, now I'm going to fall down the Ginger Baker hole. So now look wot you been n gone n dun. Feel bad!
Some bands just seem to pull together astonishing talent, together they're amazing but they're all brilliant individually too (Zep, Cream, Queen etc.) I think for me it's somehow immaculate timing combined with that chill bluesy feel and Rudd is up there. You obvs understand drumming better than me so it makes sense to you, but from a complete layperson's pov it's somehow not the same as just driving force (most rock drummers) or the military precision of someone like Mark Brzezicki. Very individual and I stan the whole bluesy vibe 😁
That crowd was bigger than most any crowd ever. They saw a great show. ACDC always puts it all out every night!!!!

I watched this video over and over. Amazing Argentina, they could electrify whoever on the stage. But the effort put from every ACDC member to perform this song is something that steals my heart at every view. They look like playing on the limit of themselves, the focus is ridicolous. The audio is perfectly balanced: you can listen Brian tearing Phil's solid sound, Malcolm embroiding notes with Cliff framing it all until Angus decides to shot energy juice from that guitar. Such performances are rock'n'roll milestones
excelente!!!! totalmente de acuerdo , con solo leer ciertas opiniones.... me dan ganas de patearles el culo!!!! es Rock!!!!!

Congratulations on being the best crowd of all time
For those who didn't knew the origins of the song.. Angus said about it:
We'd been in Tasmania and after the show Bon Scott said he was going to check out a few clubs. He said he'd got about 100 yards down the street when he heard this yell: 'Hey! Bon!' He looked around and saw this leg and thought: 'Oh well!' From what he said, there was this Rosie woman and a friend of hers. They were plying him with drinks and Rosie said to him: 'This month I've slept with 28 famous people,' and Bon went: 'Oh yeah?!' Anyway, in the morning he said he woke up pinned against the wall, he said he opened one eye and saw her lean over to her friend and whisper: '29!' There's very few people who'll go out and write a song about a big fat lady, but Bon said it was worthy.
AWESOME!
Legendary
And I bet Bon destroyed it for #30
