You can just see how much Benny is loving this. And David Choy on sax--Are you kidding me?? GENIUS! I wasn't there--I'm watching on CZcams and kicking myself for missing it. There has never, ever been a song that just hits my gut like Into the Night, in all my 60+ yrs of listening to music. And in all I've read, Benny Mardones was the most genuine kind gentleman.

Damn this is so good. Can't get enough of the sax solo with Benny's sexy smoky voice. Benny should re-release this song one more time just like this. It's got such a smooth vibe. I would bet money that it would chart within the Top 20 on the AC charts.

One of the most awesome songs ever. And that IS among many others but this floats among the top. I cannot get enough of it. What a great guy too. So sorry he has Parkinson's though, I knew in one second when I saw his hands shaking. I lost my dad to it last year at age 81 and my heart broke.
I'm so sorry! That you lost your Dad! It is devastating to say the least! I lost my Mother to cancer in 2013..Ill never get over losing her! I am a nurse and I have cared for so many beautiful people affected with Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's too! I loved all of my people with all of my heart!
I guess you're right the first time I heard about the song was in the early 80s the sad thing about it is that I never knew who the singer was until lately with the help of CZcams and the Singer was BENNY MARDONES. Every time I hear this song it's like a breath of fresh air. Now I'm on my 60s and if they happened to play on one of the FM radio stations in my city it seems the sound is always brand new to me and it always made my day listening to it. I just saw his concert on CZcams this 2017 and I cried and when he said that probably that'll be the last time that he'll sing that song and it was really heartbreaking seeing him performing with shaking hands. Just that same day watching CZcams I came to know that he already passed away last June 2020. Perhaps the Angels are happy in heaven being serenaded by BENNY. BENNY MARDONES will forever be in my life forever. To the people SYRACUSE , NY thank you for believing in BENNY even to his lowest point in life you're there to resurrect him. Kudos to the people of SYRACUSE,NY USA. I'M also for your loss. Godbless!

Benny was one of the great voices of two generations. This was one of the greatest songs in history and this band though. Wow! The entire band is spot on but that Sax and drummer though. That bridge where they skip together is awesome. Great job representing this man and his song. Fantastic.
