They arent in a group together, they were just paired for this round of the comp. Jay (right) is an a group called 'One Pact' which debuted late last year. He's been on multiple kpop reality survival shows most recently 'Boy's Planet' thats winning members ended with forming ZEROBASEONE (quite a popular group nowadays). This show has alot of cuts to show reactions of judges and Participants, lol, like most korean tv. So if you wanna watch the Uninterrupted versions, you just have to type the name and add "full ver." onto the end. Those are straight filmings. I recommend watching the Falling, River and If You performances. 3 different songs, all by different people but still utterly amazing.
Yet! Lol I'm sorry I have to update their current status now they're officially in same group B.D.U since they won the show together with Seunghun and Minseo for 2 years

ok so, a little background information. build up is a kpop vocal survival show where 40 contestants, which consist of idols and also trainees, battle in singing competitions, and face eliminations, which will ultimately lead to a 4 member vocal boy group. jay chang (23 years old) is in a group called one pact which debuted in november 2023. this group is a 5 member self-made kpop group made up of boys planet contestants (one member left before the show aired tho). jay was eliminated in boys planet at 10th place (the group made from that show is 9 members). he is an insanely good vocalist, who has a very lovable personality as well, hence why he is my bias. hes also a soloist, and has an album out called late night which is very good i highly recommend listening! so technically, jay has already debuted twice, but with his love for singing and performing, he wanted to participate in build up as well. i hope he gets to debut again for the third time!! bitsaeon (28 years old) is a member of a group called M.O.N.T which debuted in 2019. i dont actually know much about him other than that he is a really good vocalist as well. he and jay have been friends for years, and they were both in a pre-debut group called M.O.N.T Arena. they used to do livestreams together, along with the other boys from that pre-debut group. which brings me to my last point. i have been a fan of jay since like 2019/2020 before he was even on boys planet. i used to watch some of his live videos with his friend beomhan. it absolutely amazes me how far hes come over the years :(. i think of jay and am still thinking of that gorgeous goofball who was always saying unhinged stuff on instagram lives with beomhan. its so crazy to me that he is now in a kpop group and doing idol things, after seeing him talk about wanting to do stuff like that, and knowing his undying love for singing, performing, and playing instruments. i am so proud of my boy!!!
