Thanks for the review. Based on your helpful video, I decided to buy this model. I have two acres of heavily wooded mature growth oak and maple. This blower worked well this morning, even against wet leaves from the half inch of rain we received yesterday. I will be drinking a beer in your honor sir!
I just got one from lowe's I already had the 150bt from 2 years ago & it has been awsome for those 2 years but I worked it almost everyday. I am a landscaper. It always started in 2 to 3 pulls. pull cord broke on it yesterday in front of customer. Very embarrasing. So I was forced to buy another one. I'm like you I figured if I'm going to have to buy another one why not pay for a little extra horse power this time to cut time down on jobs. I was able to get my 150bt started again after some work to the pull start recoil and did a side by side comparison. The 360bt does blow harder than the 150bt at full throttle. The recoil is still messed up on my 150 so I did'nt want to fight it on jobs even though I can get it started by tapping on recoil housing with hammer. Definatly not doing that in front of customers. Thanks for the video I think I will do a video reveiw myself because as you pointed out there is'nt many reveiws on the 360bt out there on youtube.
Just bought the 360... I had the same line of thinking. The 360 has nearly 50% more thrust than the 150 and only cost an extra $100... plus I already have an electric leaf blower for lighter (incidental uses) that's nearly as powerful as the 150.
Nice review David! I just bought this blower today, and your review will help me to jump right into it. And hey, no worries! Everyone forgets to turn the choke off every now and a gain (LOL)! Thanks man!
The 580 is the best of any blower on the market. It blows leaves like a hurricane, very strong blower but a bit heavy.I got one last summer to use in the cold months for leaves and it moves them big time.I run Stihl BR600 in the season and its good but no comparison to the 580 in power
You forgot expensive as hell too... unless you're REALLY using your blower a lot (it's a commercial grade blower afterall). I can't see anyway to justify a $600 blower when the 360BT is lighter, cheaper, and has 80% of the power of the 580.
How's it running for you David? Still reliable? Four years later and it is now a $470 blower. I'm right on the cuff of winter and my front yard is going to be blanketed regularly with leaves. I WANT SOME POWER! I've been making do with a cheapo Homelite, which has been great, but I just don't have the time anymore to deal with it's measly 230 CFM. To be honest, I'm tempted to drop some serious coin on even more power. The Husqvarna 580 BTS = $600, but has 1100 cfm ... it weighs a couple of pounds more and you get almost twice the power. I don't care about fuel efficiency. I'm trying to convince myself that this blower will be enough. ~~~Grouches in Tim The Tool Man~~~
@@nathang6485 Thanks for the reply! I ended up buying the 570BTS and have been super happy with it. I timed the difference in performance: what used to take 30 minuets now takes 6. My lot size is not substantial and I probably look ridiculous owning a backpack leaf blower to maintain it, but what the hell, life it too shot to waste time pushing leaves.
🤣... you bought the biggest leaf blower available for 6 minutes of work?! And I thought I was being silly buying a 360BT for a small residential property! I'm glad to know I'm not alone!
I been trying to decide between the 150bt and the 350bt but have heard some carburetor horror stories on both models. Thinking I might go with this one instead. Thanks for the video.
As long as you buy 100% gasoline you should not have carburetor issues. Also don't leave gas over long periods of non use. Use a fuel stabilizer to keep the gas stable.
Reaper I agree with the other comment. Use ethanol free fuel. I’ve had this for a year now and have had no carb issues. Now that I’ve had it a while, I love it more.
Any views on the 360bts vs the 560bts? I've had a 560bts for nearly 10yr now and LOVE it but was looking to get a new blower and the 570bts has a set up that makes it a PAIN in the butt to change the spark plug so was looking at the 360bts...any ideas? I'd love to get the 560bts again but I can't find it for sale anywhere (has the 560bts been discontinued?).
Can someone who owns a 360BT tell me if they also have a GUTTER CLeaning kit what works with this model.. I can't seem to find this info online anywhere... ??
At 890 CFM (cubic feet per minute) you really don't need a gutter kit. Just make sure you don't have loose gutters or you can literally blow them off the house.

Thank you for taking the time. Mine came in yesterday and can't wait to try it.

Just bought mine, waiting on the rain to stop! Good review.
Thanks for your time...! Appreciate it.
Matt Bryant I’ve had it a year now and feel like I know what I’m doing with it now. I love it even more.
Thank you this video was very helpful. I'm getting mine next week.

Very good presentation thank you.

I’m his son. He loves it. Still uses it all the time.

Thanks for this video....big help!
i have the 580bts love it :)
Yoku made a good choose
Is it better than stihl br 600 or 800?
I feel like no one talks about the 350bt
I couldn't find anything when I bought mine and did this video 6 years ago. It's still running strong!
I'm stuck between the 360 and the 150 not sure which way to go
You won't go wrong with a Husky!

I believe it's just a rebadge of the 560bts.

$499 on huskavarna
$424 on acme
my 560bts starts on second pull almost everytime.
@David Giles I heard the air filter needs oil after cleaning it. what type of oil does the air filter use?
"Air filter" oil... whatever that is.
Mine is still brand new so I haven't had to maintain it yet.
Where do you get the ethanol free gas?
i have a 560bts the 360 has the same cfm specs but alot cheaper , has anyone else notice this ?
Stihl
Is it still going strong?
It's 10 pumps sir
How loud is this would neighbors get mad ?
I don't believe this would bother your neighbors at all, i use mine during normal hours and its just fine, 70db i think, its perfect and works great.

I’m not aware of one. I use a handheld blower for my gutters.
200 more cfm, and only 0.5 lbs heavier! No brainer...
And $100 more... 🤷♂️
Depends what you're really looking to do with it I guess.
