- rewatching the 2021 movie I remembered that there's a based Tom & Jerry movie and rewatching it I also remembered there's not too many compilarions or stuff about this movie, so here I am...

Man Soccer Mom's death was dark. Everyone else was just a different shade of jerk so you don't feel as bad when they got the axe, but she was literally just a mother and wife.
That one always creeped me out as a kid like really? You gonna throw that dark implication into a kid's movie?
I wonder if one of the writers have an abusive soccer mom and this is their way of venting. At least have her heroically defend Jerry from something
She was shown to be a good person, especially with her scene towards Jerry, making sure he went the right way and even offering him a healthy snack
She's a sweetheart and she didn't deserve it

Ah, yes, the one direct-to-TV movie that deconstructs Tom and Jerry’s shenanigans by exposing an entire cast to the two’s slapstick. The result is the two directly/indirectly racking up a body count, Tom especially.
I rewatched that thing like 1000 times as a kid. For some reason little me really enjoyed the movie
It kinda reminds you why Tom was treated like the villain in the older cartoons, like everyone says is ok because his job is to hunt jerry but they forget he is a sadistic predator in demon time.
@@massgunner4152well about that, some of the old shorts actually had his owners at the time, threaten him that he *has* to deal with the mouse problem. So, in those situations I’d say any of his owners who threatened him / forced him to deal with the mouse, those are the true villians. Or at least true dummies lol.

Man for a Tom and Jerry movie, this has a surprisingly dark edge to it. There’s so many on-screen and implied deaths throughout the movie. Usually at most people are just involved in the crossfire.
They pushed the PG rating to it's limit with this film
Not only that if you actually watch this movie carefully u will notice so many shots at Hollywood and implication at illuminati .
This is essentially a Fast and Furious parody that actually points out how in those movies the vehicular carnage is so outrageous that it's amazing people actually survive. This is taken to the highest degree and shows how morbid it all is in the end

They're both psychopaths in my opinion. Jerry is almost always depicted as a thief and there are shorts where Jerry just gets Tom killed and has little remorse. Both characters have their standout moments of villainy and scummy acts.

I still love this movie to death, but I honestly feel like it went a little overboard with Tom's villainy, and as a result, it's really hard for me to take his side whenever something bad happens to him. That's just karma coming back to bite him. Jerry may be a thief, but I'd take a thief over a cold-blooded killer who'd just as soon backstab you as look you in the eye.
You have chased this mouse for as long as Tom has the you be going mad too!! Considering Jerry has dropped irons, dropped anvils, got his head stuck in the window, freezing tom, locking him in a closet with a lion, having a elephant beat him up, having a shark chase him, blowing him up, getting Mammy Twoshoes to kick him out of the house, causing him to lose the girl on multiple occasions, sicking spike on him, smashing every peace of furniture over his head, sticking him to rockets, using military grade force on him... This is only scratching the surface of what that mouse has done to Tom, so you would be doing the same thing in his shoes after 65 years of that kind of abuse!!

This was shockingly dark, more so considering how, in the original Tom and Jerry cartoons, the main characters(As well as several other characters) have been able to endure very egregious situations without dying.
I was more surprised that Tom ended up alive by the end since most of the deaths in the original run were _his._

Out of all them the Amazon one was the darkest- you've got this mum with five kids with a normal car that can't go underwater or whatever and so they kill her off. What a wasted character! And she didn't get killed with her car but in fact just walked with a bunch of tarantulas and centipedes eating her. In my opinion, the granny was hilarious.

Soccer Mom's dead was a trauma for most of us, i really wanted to think that she survived, especially because i compared her to my own mother, just because they both drive a truck.
Even as a kid, I knew this film was unhinged, and I loved it
Tom's kill count in this movie:
-Indirectly responsible for the death of soccer mom.
-Indirectly responsible for the death of granny and her dog.
-Beat up 2 seals and 3 sharks possibly to death.
-Responsible for the death of one third of Australia.
-Burnt most of Borneo, is responsible for 100s of deaths throught Asia and Europe and sank a ship along with Jerry.
Most of the shitty things that Tom does in the classic shorts can be chalked up to "because he's a cat" or "because he's doing his job", but in this movie he's straight up evil and I love it lmao.

It always bothered me how he just "died" despite nothing really happening to him, i mean he could've just cut that bit of his tongue and flew away, but alas.

damn, i just finished re-watching this movie for the first time in over 10 years. this movie will always have a very special place in my heart. since this movie is one of the first movies i’ve ever seen as a child back in 2006/2007. even tho years later i’m now officially 19 i will still continue to watch this movie. btw, i always wondered what indeed happened to soccer mom after she walked away into the forest. did she die, getting eating alive by the bugs/animals? what happened to her?

I Watched this movie a tons of time as a kid, never realised how dark it was

9th: Dr. Professor. Been vaporized by his own anti-matter engine. He literally got eliminated before the race even started
8th: Soccer Mom/Mallory. Her car sank in quicksand
7th: Steed Dirkley. Eaten by a fish
6th:Gorthan. Got his tongue stuck to a frozen pole
5th: Granny and Squirty. Got eaten by a whale
4th: Tom. Got crushed by an anchor.

3rd: Granny and Squirty again. Fell from the sky and died on impact of the ground
2nd:Tom. Second one to make it onto the finish line
1st: Jerry wins! First one to make it onto finish the line
Some of you thought it was a tie but when the planes broke, jerry actually landed on the finish line first.
