Thank you so very much for your expertise,instructions and techniques ! Thank you also for taking the time to share what you know and do with those like myself....I have made a small (7" tall by 3.5" wide) wire twisted Bonsai tree for a gift for my cousin for his birthday.I am not using the concrete method since it will not be used for an actual tree,but I do have some air drying "Sculpy" clay that I'm making the lot with.Your videos are becoming worth their weight in gold to me today ,especially when it come to making an oval one as authentic looking as possible! I also have a lovely and very smooth (basalt?) type stone I'm thinking of placing the wire roots over and placing in the pot when I'm ready! I am a horticulturist as my life's work and study and I am ready to start again making some for myself with your method for actual planting in.I'm having a great time just making it and putting it together! The tree itself is a sort of miniature,made of copper shiny wire and very twisty and full of character! I'm glad I save the wire and want to make more decorative ones too ,maybe using beads,fancy leaf twists etc,or a weeping willow over a gazebo made of ice cream sticks or bamboo skewers! I have more plans than I have time ! Thank again,your channel is on my list of top favorites!!

I'm planning to make my own or personalize pots, the problem in my first creation pots my freind is always getting cracked when exposing in sunlight . Please advice, and about the calcium sulfate where im going to buy. And also the ratio of sand, cement and sulfate. Thank you so much😊👍
The problem is the same as I used to use sand and cement the results are always cracked, and I switch to using calcium carbonate + Cement the dose is 1:1 even though without reinforcement it is still strong and heat resistant, you can buy it at a building material store, or online shop, good luck

In America after much experimentation I purchased quikrete brand Portland Cement & just pulverized Garden lime (calcium carbonate) from Lowe’s
