    6:53 Love the idea of padding on the lid. I have a container that doesn't quite touch the edges for a great seal..so I'm going to try this. Thanks.

    I love your ideas and am going through your A to Z organizing series. I am a junk journaler and use all of the same supplies. And just in case you didn't know:
    se·quin /ˈsēkwin/noun plural noun: sequins
    a small, shiny disk sewn as one of many onto clothing for decoration.
    "satin dresses trimmed with pearls and sequins"
    se·quence /ˈsēkwəns/ noun
    a particular order in which related events, movements, or things follow each other.
    "the content of the program should follow a logical sequence"

    I love your idea of using the photo storage box for buttons and gems! I happen to have an empty photo storage box. I’m not even sure why I bought it, but now I can’t wait to fill it up with things I have laying around.

    Really enjoyed the share. Gave me some choices for storage. I have my studio set up so all like supplies are together…….so your suggestions for trays etc was very helpful.

    Interesting. I've never heard of blingy embellishments being referred to as ephemera. I always though that term referred to paper stuff, like printed memorabilia or vinatge-looking stuff, paper embellishments, etc. Looks like i learned something new. Thank u for sharing. :-)

    • @TerryCowans
      @TerryCowans  Před 3 lety

      Yes, it's mostly paper, but we need to organize it all! Which is quite a feat!!

    I used my Nuvo drops tray lid in a drawer for bits. Those lids are useless for the drops.😊

    I'm looking for 5x7 ideas for storage. Would love to have a tall file that fits 5x7 correctly both width and depth. Even 5x7 Iris boxes or something similar. I have many postcards and other ephemera that is larger than the standard 4x6. Any suggestions?

    • @TerryCowans
      @TerryCowans  Před 3 lety

      Ephemera is tricky! I think that's why my video has been watched more than others! Think about whether you like to see the stuff or hide it away. Also keep in mind, you want something that allows you to flip through the items to find what you are looking for.
      I've seen folks us those refrigerator bins, notebooks with pockets, shoeboxes, and the IRIS 5x7 boxes. Ikea Alex drawers are not very deep but can hold a lot. You might consider those for different categories, depending on how much you have!

    Ooh I need your empty stampin up Circle plastic containers

    I have come to the conclusion that I have to destash about 50% of my ephemera before I can start!.....I like the Iris 4x6 and 5x7 containers.

    • @TerryCowans
      @TerryCowans  Před 2 lety

      Destashing is hard to do, but so worth it. Keep the goodies you know you will use.
      I have ribbon and washi tape to go thru and whittle down to the ones I love.
      Good luck! Thanks for watching!!
