@@cirsiumc I'm a nurse aide by training so I do agree! I used to watch UNTOLD STORIES of ER and other shows. Nothing scares me! (Ok, not true but medical stuff doesn't bother me.) I will literally not care one iota if I am thrown up on, peed on, pooped on, changing diapers, dealing with kids scared of needles, kids going into surgery, or really anything. Kids would love me as a NA! I also don't mind just sitting and talking about whatever they will have done whether its blood drawn, x-rays, nasty stuff for MRI (Yes I'd take it too!), or anything. Hell, I'd be their chauffeur for their wheelchairs!
I know I'm weird but aren't we medical staff meant to be! And no, I am not working as an aide but do work at a local hospital. If you want to know, it's a clerk/mail guy for Materials.

This. It's really hard to turn the volume up for con vids, because the audience laughter/reactions are usually infinitely louder and it deafens you - no ironic pun intended. Then you have shit like that Dean's cat scream suddenly integrated into some vids, which, at a loud volume, frankly, startled me so much, I almost dropped my bloody phone. 😬 I put CZcams's auto-captions on, but half the words were missing or incorrect, so it didn't even help.

I had to get an ultra sound every year when I was a kid and I'm a male it was because I had a birth defect when I was born and I always needed to be checked up like that every year
Amanda Snider i had one, conviently timed the morning of when i had to go to the airport 😂 so mum was on her phone trying to get long term parking while i was having mine, the cool gel didnt bother me much, but omg, i think its maybe cuz im tickilish but omg IT TICKLES MAN! I had to spend the entire appt just trying to sit still and not squirm 😂 it was kinda boring to cuz i couldn’t see anything. So it was the doctor just saying ‘breathe in *5 sec pause* breath away’ for everrrrr. there was one time i flinched and the doctor was like ‘omg im so sorry’ and i was like ‘no its fine. It just tickles 😂’ complaining to mum afterwards, she responded ‘imagine how many i had to have when i was pregnant with you’ 😂
Mum got really stressed afterwards cuz they said they noticed something but didnt tell us anything abt it. So mum got really stressed wondering if we had to cancel the flight or not...
They noticed my shruken kidney and didnt realise i’ve had that for a long time now xD
I did fertility treatments to get pregnant, had 2 cycles of those and had to have an ultrasound at almost every OB appointment because my child is stubborn. The later OB ones aren’t bad but those early ones are uncomfortable!
As a twin myself, my dad found out he was having twins and he bailed on the family. Wish I could have had a dad like jensen. :(

I feel ya Jensen. I have 3 older siblings, and there's this one diner that we've gone to a lot, and my mom used to work there. The people who own the diner basically watched us grow up. But, they have a specific booth that basically became our booth. Whenever we went to eat there altogether, we would walk in and go straight to our booth. No one is ever sitting there when we show up, so we never have to wait. At other restaurants, if there's no booths, we just either split us in half, or push two tables together.

My mom found out she was having twins on April Fool's day of 2002... The nurse decided to pull an April Fool's prank on her and told her it was triplets, not knowing that my Mom had just found out she was pregnant (at the time). My mom started hyperventilating before the nurse revealed that she was just having twins. She called my Dad and all she could get out was "The babies are fine". My Dad went: "B-B-B-babies? How many?" After being told 2, he goes: "Two... Two? Two. I'll call you back." He hung up and, forgetting that it was April Fools' Day, proceeded to call his entire family to tell them 🤣 My mom tells the story every year on the twins' birthday and they're now almost 18 years old

I have three sets of twins in my family. I have a twin brother, my uncles(mom’s brothers) are identical and do everything together even work the same job, and my little cousins of one of my uncles are fraternal twin boys. They think I’ll have twins when I’m older.
Fraternal twins always come from the mother, she needs to release two eggs for that to happen. So your cousins come from your aunts side of the family. But identical twins could come from either, so you might still end up with multiples.

One of my bff's first pregnancy was trips. She lost one and birthed twins. Her second pregnancy was supposed to be trips but there was a hidden one, so she birthed quads. Her third fourth and fifth pregnancies were all solo births. She's a glaring reason why I refuse to have any kids.

My mother is a twin, my brother and sister are twins and I have twins. I was in maternity clothes at 6 weeks. My mother called it immediately but I was a bit underweight starting out so the doctors dismissed it. At 20 weeks, I finally get my first ultrasound and my husband says, “Is that a split screen?” The tech says, “No, those are your twins.” He took it decently. Better than my father. My mother, very unfortunately, told him she was having twins on the phone and he hung up on her. She still gets this look when that story is told, 47 years later. Jensen, future grandfather of twins.
