I think a hybrid alpha build would work too, u can get high dps and even have some skill power so u can have a good heal which is hard to come by this patch. I have a mid max hexo build with high dps and high skill power so my booster shot can give me a full over heal and bring me back to 100hp if I’m low. I also have high skill haste and he build has worked wonders for me. I went solo manhunt earlier today but I still think it’s only good for skilled players and I don’t have enough EDR so pred will destroy me unless I melt them fast enough.

A person running Nomad is only as good as they treat it. Any asshole can face tank and fight when they have a proc waiting. But I say is show me what your gonna do once that proc is gone. Your either gonna say fuck it and jump the fuck in or jump the fuck out and run and wait for it to come back.
Hook_Em1108 4 nomads is absolute cancer, the only way to fight them will be predator turret emp and that's even more cancer, I'm so glad I got bored of PvP a couple weeks ago

Since 1.8.3 I've been playing Predshee, and even tried 2 piece Alpha/2 piece Pred with Barrets. I'll admit after dying over and over (not used to using hybrid sets anymore) I dusted off my Nomad set after a long time of it sitting in my stash. Ran into nothing but Predators Mark scrubs all over the DZ. The kicker? When they died they said, "Pffft, Nomad, so bad" Nomad isn't a bad set, it's a SOLO set. In order to get DPS to kill anything I have to sacrifice stamina (Predmark scrubs sit at 9k) to be able to kill anything, and on top of that, I have a 50% chance to get another proc which is pretty high, but the most I've ever got was 2 then it turns red.
Here's a build idea for you. I've been experimenting with it and have had really good results. Its a hybrid build. With ninja backpack, use two nomad pieces to get the three piece bonus and go three banshee to get the 4 piece banshee perk. The build is crazy fun and takes me back to 1.7 when this game really had diversity with the builds. I believe this hybrid build is what the 6 piece banshee should have been.

What about running Stability and Reload speed for the backpack and holster? 16.5 and 22% Respectively I believe that's really nice for dps and aim. 4 crit just doesn't seem worth it over 22 reload.
What are you thoughts on using a 5pc Nomad with Savage Gloves or maybe 5pc Nomad with Barrett's Chest Piece as a DPS Build in a group setting... Since the 6pc bonus no longer works in a group why not get all the healing of the 5pc nomad and still do damage with one guaranteed Nomad Proc... Can you imagine a group with 3 nomad dps players and a reclaimer healer...

Nomad has always been the best for solo PvE. Personally I've been using it from the very beginning with Warlord (Predatory weapon talent).

I'm pretty pleased with AB with the house. With regular M4 it's not enough damage. Otherwise... You can pump out some serious damage with the hex build still
I was running 6 piece banshee solo on ps4 and then later after having a good run other players start using banshee to kill rogues or use it in a group

What's crit hit chance cap?
4 piece banshee with 3 piece predator using the ninja bike bag is very nice. I burn through the health of most nomads because they give up stamina for the damage. Even when they proc the set perk for damage reduction their health still soars down. Having 489k toughness isn't bad for a raw damage build, i solo this build against groups for fun and do well enough. Then again i don't run rogue at all, because i enjoy hunting groups on my own for a challenge. Will probably make a nomad build similar to this for when a server is busy and i need more survivability.
4 banshee WITH 3 pieces predator AND using the ninja bike? we only have 6 pieces my man
Of course i mean once you have the ninja bike on it adds up to that. 3 banshee and 2 pred turns into that once you have the backpack equipped, maybe i could have been more clear.

Ty Land was playing a 1v4 2 days ago and I could’ve easily killed all 4 of them but since they changed everything I killed 1 everytime I came out. With the support station and all that and 2 of them were running nomad 🙄 hate the changes so much

I saw this coming a few months ago, with all the whining I knew Striker was going to get nerfed. I switched to Nomad back in May. I like it even more than my 9k and 7/6k Striker. So now I switch between a 10k stamina and 8k firearms Nomad build. If you really want to piss people off run 10k stamina with a fire turret. 😂😂😂

so a 4man team now fights in theory 20 other players on manhunt ( if all solo nomads) who have a 50% chance each time you 'kill' them to become full health again... its like fighting 40 plus players now
so 6 piece striker is basically useless .
so I recommend running a ninja bag 3 striker and two pred or banshee or what fits your play style.

What's the max health on kill you can get on gear? You currently have 29% health on kill plus 20% from predatory I mean that's a lot of health

I run a nomad in group and it’s actually very good. I run 5 piece nomad with savage gloves starting my house at 60% Crit chance and 8k firearms with 5k Stam perfect build so far I’ve found for nomad

I have been a huge fan of the Division since day 1. However, I quit after the first nerf to striker and Sentry and when everyone was running around with face tank shotgun/sticky bombs. I kept coming back like 1-2 times a month just to see the changes made etc. I grinded and grinded until I got my 6 piece striker classified because it has been my favorite gear since falcon lost dropped. I almost quit again if it wasn't for striker due to predator all day, nomad with their million lives or even dfc. Striker was the only gear set that kept those 3 others sets in their place, now guess what? They nerfed the only good set in the game that made the game a bit of balance. Now striker makes no sense for pve and pvp....................Why nerf the set when D2 is so close to come out lol After this i might not even buy D2 because the game looks more and more bad coming closer to D2.
That moment you return to play the game just get the 6th striker shit and then they nerf that shit just typical ubisoft act.

division traded in killing people really fast for killing people slow as fuck ONCE AGAIN. This patch completely killed solo play unless you run nomad, and even with nomad solo play is just too difficult now if you're against any players who have half a brain. Rip the already small player base.

No that was 1.8/1.8.2. This is 1.8.3 which brings the actual skill back rather than relying on your Striker stacks to gift you damage or gift you health continuously.
What skills do you show with current patch? 10 bullets bleed-and-strafe? Extra 2+ lives? Shield defense with no mobility? LOL

You mean playing with Predator shows your skills? How I wonder. There are other ways of playing The Division and we don't have any Predator in our group now :) Because it's beat in 2 seconds LOL And when it was 1.8 & 1.8.1 all servers were full of nomads & preds - all played because they are EASY to bleed/stay alive. But if a group of strikers beats those nomads & preds they begin to cry & talk shit against Showstoppers & Strikers. Striker actually is not easy to play, but if it was the best way to play against a full server of 10-16 people - why not.

@@yoplio752 no way it was OP. Striker was OP and that's why it got a Nerf. It had stronger heals than nomad when stacks are up and it was easily the hardest hitting build. Nomad was for a solo player to fight groups and have a chance against them. The developers did the right thing with nomad by making it have a chance to proc more than twice for a solo player. Stop complaining and adjust. Actually you probably was striker reliant and now you're struggling 🤣 typical striker reliant player who can't adjust and use other sets. Amateur.

I used 5 piece banshee and 6 piece lonestar and still did damage, I’m not striker reliant, just disappointed that I have to relay on rng now for solo pvp now.

-Striker is still the strongest set in solo PvE
-Nomad 6 piece won't work in Last stand or Skirmish cause you are in a Party even if you go solo.
-So only only in the DZ Nomad will be in a good Spot, but not more then Predator or D3FNC.
