Trains at: Glasgow Central, WCML, 12/11/16 Part 1/2

- A brilliant part 1 of my day spent at Glasgow Central which is the northern most terminus of the West Coast Mainline where we see countless services from Abellio Scotrail, Virgin Trains and just the one service from Cross Country.
This was the first time I had filmed at this station and I can safely say I wasn't disappointed, there is always traffic coming and going to a healthy amount of destinations although on this day there was an issue with a line in the country which meant a lot of services were being disrupted.
This video is a special as it is a massive thank you to all of my subscribers who have helped push me over the 2500 mark, so this a big shout out to everyone who has contributed to my channel over the last couple of years, you guys really are the greatest and I couldn't do it without you, so here's to a many more years with more content for you all to enjoy.

I see you got your Passport and Visa stamped to go north of the border. A nice change of venue to watch after finishing work a half past midnight. Thank you for taking time to shoot and upload.
Had to get my currency exchanged and perform some major security checks lol, it was great coming to film here as I had filmed at Edinburgh twice before

Superb video. I love Glasgow Central. As you say, a beautiful station, with trains seemingly arriving and departing by the minute. If you ever fancy spending a break up there then I can highly recommend the Grand Central Hotel on the station concourse. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and it is luxury.

This station is quite nice actually i do like the architecture and the trains
A most enjoyable film Jarred, really enjoy it when you go here, always lots of variety- I would say next time you go to Glasgow, doany just dae Central and Queen Street, I'm in Glasgow a lot and trust me, some of the best stations are actually in the subuebs, If you go to some of the stations on the low level, particuarily Partick, Hyndland, Rutherglen and Cambuslang which are extremely good, there u will see 318s and 320s, I really recommend those stations for when you're next up. However a huge thumbs up from me and I really can't wait to go watch part 2 now. Thanks Jarred-hope you're keeping well btw.

314s are the same color as tge outstanding pullmsn coaches so well done fir tge color choice
I'm not to sure whether that was done deliberately but the colours really do work on those sets

The announcers are Scottish in Scotland :O I thought that posh sounding English lady did the whole UK... the things you learn :') Also you found a friend in this one who seems rather excited?
I must admit I thought that aswell but I guess its good that they have a different announcer in Scotland, yeah I was joined by Scousetrainspotter1999
In Wales there are bilingual Welsh and English announcements!

If you don't know where it is then go to Glasgow central and take the low level train to Larkhall or Motherwell. Calling at: Argyle Street, Bridgeton, Dalmarnock, Rutherglen, Cambuslang, NEWTON, Blantyre, Hamilton Central, Hamilton West, Airbels and motherwell.

Tornado922 Ok, I've traveled with Arriva Trains Wales countless times, but haven't been with Scotrail. I agree that the Scotrail livery is probably nicer.

D The Glasgow Airport Rail Link doesn't exist. The project was cancelled a while ago. That means there is no Glasgow Airport station.

Well luckily for you the class 43 isn't getting removed, the sets that are currently working with GWR are slowly being moved up to ScotRail to work their intercity services
