WeHo Pride 2024 kicks off in West Hollywood

- Thousands will gather in West Hollywood for the annual WeHo Pride Parade on Sunday, June 2 and the WeHo Pride Presents Friday Night at OUTLOUD concert on May 31.
The parade kicks off at 12:30 PM at N. Crescent Heights Boulevard, making its way west along Santa Monica Boulevard to North San Vicente Boulevard in the City’s Rainbow District.
The WeHo Pride Parade is an imaginative and colorful tradition that embraces LGBTQ+ representation, inclusion, and progress. Full of music, dancing, festive floats, vibrant marching contingents, and creative flair, the event celebrates LGBTQ+ people and their contributions to community and culture.

What really sucks is that they took the rainbow and desecrated it to mean one thing. There have been times I wanted to put something on with a rainbow pattern ot whatever and stopped, it's not right ! Back in the 70's hippies would wear rainbow socks and headbands as a fashion fad which was non-identified or neutral, except as a homage or symbol to the beauty of nature.
