This was super fun!! Not my style as a flutist but I LOVE hearing people play like this. The extended techniques on a flute are so good when utilized correctly and I think this piece does an amazing job!

This was an interesting one but it's fun! I don't see this style of playing very often, much less sheet music for it. It's kind of funky in the best way possible

Edit: your music and Rama's playing are forever my inspirations, among other great composers/flutists like Ian Clarke. The extended techniques on this specific one were exceptional! Hopefully one day I'll be able to play your most beautiful pieces (which are a lot of them 😅)

I wonder how to play some of technuques. What does it mean "B" under the note for example. What exactly I should to do as a flutist.
I think I can google something like "beatboxing flute how to" and I will find the answrs.
There is a complete notation chart attached to the sheet music of Blue on my website. B simulates a kick drum played as an exhaled B.

This is incredible! I think I personally lack the jazzy soul for this piece - I struggle with Jazzy pieces but enjoy listening to others perform them. Compliments to both composer and performer - this completely blew my mind! I really enjoyed listening to this.

Try to find it in one of the "Romantic Collection" albums Vol 1-5. If you have no success, it is not official released. Also try to contact Herman direct via his webpage, I´m sure he answers you and help you. Many years ago I asked him for a composition and he very generous sent it to me as mp3 via e-mail (the title of it was "Indigo").
I just remember there exist also a further official released composition: "Dream Scapes" (composed by Herman Beeftink) wich is part of Steve Reid´s album "Dream Scapes". Perhaps you mean this track ?
