BARNEY, MY PEBBLES!
This was back in the day... where videos like this would actually get views...
That's the first time I ever saw a character from the Flinstones wearing PANTS!
0:23 Barney, my pebbles!😠
0:25 Barney: Time to rap things up!
The real irony is that this commercial contains much better animation than the original cartoon ever did.
Oh shit the Parachute pants saved Barney's life oh my god that shit gut busting. LOL
@darthranerful I believe it was Jeff Bergman.
Also, the fact that Barney has a boatload of talents makes me wonder why waste it all on cereal.
We like to picture a guy in 1970s New York, taking part in the birth of the whole hip-hop scene, helping invent the genre. Then, 20 years later, he sits in front of his TV, watches the above ad, and weeps softly. -Cracked
"He really likes my pebbles!"
Well, no euphamism here...
LOL! I remember this commercial fondly! Thanks!
lol, I love when they broke it down at the end!
he really loves his pebbles
barnety loves greeds pebbles 0:10
0:23 Woody: Buzz, My Pebbles.
haha the music sounds like a total pastiche of "can't touch this"
@corwinorr How is it ironic? The Flintstones were around during the 60s and 70s. This commercial was around during the 90's. For a 30 second production with easier to achieve resources and the already established fame of the show, It's pretty much given that the commercial was supposed to be better animated.
Conversely, look at the old butterfinger commercials with the Simpsons. The colors popped more and the animation was more fluid. Just goes to show someone else could've done a better job.
How did Fred know it was Barney without looking at him? The wig goes on and "DAMN IT IT WAS BARNEY!" Is he that paranoid about his cereal getting jacked he automatically assumes it Barney? One day, he's just going to assume EVERYONE is Barney trying to take his pebbles. The Dog, his wife (BARNEY, QUIT JUMPING MY STALAGMITE FOR MY PEBBLES) and everyone but Barney because that'd be too 'obvious'
I love this commercial!!!
When I think rap, I don't think fruity pebbles.
That shit was all HAMMER!
CD Rapper...seedy commercial! :)
Fred likes Paul Phoenix or Guile😂😂 0:22

Thanks Cracked.com for this terrible fucking thing.
That wasn't Mel Blanc as Barney Rubble. Right?
No, Mel Blanc died in 1989. Jeff Bergman voiced Barney Rubble in the CD Rapper commercial.
@@insideoutandfamilyguyyesth6303 I remember hearing about his death and felt terrible. I heard in July 1989 and felt terrible. I heard in a documentary about Mel Blanc that he had checked into hospital for some illness (Los Angeles maybe), he was put on stretcher and placed on a hospital bed. But an orderly forgot to raise one of the two bars on his bed so he wouldn't fall out; the result was him falling out of it and he died. How could some somebody be that careless and stupid, not to raise the bar up on one the side of the bed regardless if he is a celebrity like Mel Blanc or not? If both bars were raised high enough so he couldn't fall out, Mel might've been doing voice into the 1990's.
@jessicaquien He's better than John Cena.
